Good job winning, esp. since Philly is making a statement vs Boston. Hopefully NY somehow splits the DH tomorrow with that pitching. Colorado could be a tough series as they have been hot. Plus our bullpen may be tired for game one, as some that haven't pitched lately have still been warmed up.

Acuna better be okay!
 
So who pitches tomorrow out of the pen since we used our best three relievers to close this game out? Teheran CGSO?
 
Continuing to watch the Marlins postgame, I have to give them credit because, to a man, they're saying it was a BS move.

They go on to say that Urena should be suspended and at least as long as Acuna is out.
 
We have Sobotka, Biddle (although he's been a little overused), Jackson, Allard (gulp), Winkler who didnt go today. Brach could go as well since he had a stress free inning and has only pitched once this week.

Minter would be 3 in 3, and Venters obviously isnt going 3 in 3. I think the pen's in ok shape for Thursday, more worried about Acuna being ok.

He isn't a .300 hitter or a .850 OPS hitter. He's a pretty good hitting catcher, but he's nowhere near this good. Relax.

They split with the Sox. This after losing 2 of 3 to the Pads and D Backs... What kind of message are they sending exactly???

I didn't say that was career numbers, those are his numbers this year to go along with 14 homers. He is a much better hitter than their other catchers and can be a difference maker for them as he was tonight. But hopefully we still beat them regardless. Time will tell.

Splitting vs Boston is big for them going into the Mets series. But losing two of three to the Padres was bad and that was due to their offensive issues. Ramos should help that issue, he certainly did big time tonight.
