Can't wait for a devastating 4-3 loss in which we lead 3-2 late in the game to bring you guys back to "I don't know if this team has what it takes" mode. Or a 2 game losing streak to the Marlins or Mets in September.

Awaiting a Promotion
This team was playing .500 ball since the 12-1 start. There was a slight reason for concern although we kept a comfy lead in the division. This win streak ends any questions on whether that 12-1 start was a fluke, and whether this team has that killer instinct.
but yeah..im sure there will be some that will be in the what have you done for me lately mindset.

Somewhat true.
In the third, we got two infield singles, and Freeman pokes his bat out to score Heyward.
5th inning JUp and Freeman scorched both hits.
Stras was really good last night IMO.
Agreed. Thats what was so infuriating about him in the non-"A" months. He can't just get hot like this and go cold because if he is cold in October then we are in trouble.

It's particularly rich in light of Minor's self-appraisal after the game yesterday, in which he bemoaned how terribly he pitched and credited his defense for bailing him out all game: definitely a bit of an exaggeration on his part, even if not wholly inaccurate. I know which mindset I find preferable.

You really do get a feel from the Nationals that they have a sense of entitlement. Everyone (including me) handed them this division for the next few years so they act like its their birthright. They are just in utter shock as to how this season is unfolding and they just do not know how to react.
It would be AMAZING if fans went to the playoff games and had these signs up. GET IT DONE ATL!!!

I think Minor was absolutely right and it's a credit to him (and the defense) that he was able to keep his team in position to win. He has somewhat of that ability of Glavine to not give in to hitters, yet not walk a ton of guys. Minor was off though, Nats squared up on him a lot (Hairston, Harper, Laroche, Ramos in particular). 8 hits/6 innings; 3 walks and 3 ks. According to BR, the Nats had 7 line drives off Minor. But, that has been a big reason the Braves have been wining so often is there are many games where they simply find a way to win (or do the little thing).
Braves have been winning a lot recently because they are smacking the crap out of the ball.
Yep, he's clearly frustrated and as a young guy needs to figure out how to handle when stuff like this happens.
He has 4 starts this year with 0 ER (1-2)
7 starts with 1 ER (3-2)
5 starts with 2 ER (0-1)
1 start with 3 ER (0-1)
Crazy to think a guy with 17 starts giving up 3 er or less having a record of 4-6 in those games with 7 no decisions
This is true. But throughout much of May and June they were finding ways to win despite not hitting.
