Braves getting dominated by a dude with a 4.5 ERA. But I’ve been told this a standard MLB offense.

The Braves are 16th in runs scored. Maybe 15th after the DH. Your issues with the offense are completely made up in your own head if you think other teams dont do the exact same ****. Even last years offense **** the bed many times and were shut down by scrubs. Thats baseball. Get over it.

You defend your baseball IQ then you come here telling me the offense is bad because they havent hit well in high leverage situations. Like clutch is a skill. We were best on the majors last year and 4th best before that largely with the same players. We got bounced in the first round with that clutch offense laying duds. The 2021 offense was 19th in high leverage situations. These things even out over time.

Let me help you out here. There are 30 teams in MLB. The Braves are 16th in runs scored this year. That is on the below average side of average. Below average is bad. The offense is bad because the offense is bad.

Did you understand all of that? Maybe you’re too intelligent. After all, it takes a real genius to post a stat that directly refutes his point in the same sentence. And by the way, the Braves offense is a league worst in high leverage situations. There’s a stat for that. And it’s not because they lack a mythical “clutch” skill. It’s because they’re a bad offense. You see how that works?

Again, you mistake this as an argument about whether the offense is good or bad. This is about the over the top negativity from some of you people. Yeah, the offense isnt as good as I want it to be either. Its not because the players are stupid. Its not because they dont care. Its hard to hit a baseball. You know Met fans are saying the same **** Braves fans are. They are worried they will **** the bed and their offense will lay a dud. But you seem to have no perspective of other teams. You see something you dont like about our team and just assume its better on every other team. Theres nothing wrong with being negative you are just over the top about it. Theres nothing wrong with complaining, but atleast make them legitimate complaints. Not just the players are stupid because they dont hit homers every at bat.
