GDT: braves @ gnats 9/10

So if we get a hard slump from Tatis the final 2 weeks with Freeman continuing to beast he may sneak in a MVP.

Playing at SS for tattis will make it tough for Freeman to overcome but with Acuna so locked in Freeman is going to have a lot of opportunity to do damage.

Braves would realistically have the following players as all stars

D’Arnaud
Freeman
Swanson
Duvall
Acuna
Ozuna
Fried

And a couple guys in the bullpen that would be borderline like Greene, Minter, and Martin

Just as insane year of individual performances.

Ive been curious all year what the 'stirring the pot' move has been among the players. Not all of them do it, but most, when they get a hit.

I think Soto is ahead at the plate.

Acuña will need to get a little more selective with his swings to close the gap.

seems like Acuña is super selective of late. over 20% BB rate. maybe he has more swing and miss, but selectivity may go to Ronald.

I always thought RAJ was patient, but I never saw this coming.

I think a high walk rate (15%+) is sustainable given the quality of contact.

Lowering his K rate below 20% is the next step. At this point, I am not sure what his ceiling even is. Young Barry Bonds seems like a really good comp.

It's ridiculous that this is a realistic comp.

Not really funny anymore that the same writers who came up with that Top 5 continue to tout Freeman as the most underrated player in the game.

He's only underrated because you *ucking idiots keep leaving him off these lists - everybody that plays the game and everybody else who watches the game gets it. How Chip Caray can figure out he's one of the best players in the sport but these guys still have jobs when they can't boggles the mind.

When the players (like Harper) tell you how bad you're missing the boat on Freeman during a national telecast and you still don't hear it you might need a sanity test.

Tatis is MVP in NL right now, having a ridiculous year. Giving how much the media loves him, unless Padres fall off bad, it's probably his to lose.
