We had a base runner. Why give away outs with Neck and Riley coming up?

Because stupid people think a man on 2nd with 1 out is more likely to result in runs than a man on 1st with 0 outs.

Stupid people also think a sac bunt is guaranteed to work, when in actuality it often ends up as man on 1st with 1 out.

I wasn't completely listening, but sounded like ARod was saying that they'll be giving Riley pitches to hit to NOT get to Acuna.

Yeah, I kind of half-listened to the first part. It seemed like he was saying if you have a guy at second, it opens up a lot of decisions for the manager, like do you walk Riley and face Acuna. Then during Riley's AB he said the opposite.

I'm with A-rod on the bunt. Duvall at second with Markakis as the plate is a much better situation. Markakis probably has a double with if the first baseman isn't holding the runner on.
