GDT: BRAVES VS TWINS: SWANSON MLB DEBUT!

Swanson has looked good in first 2 ABs. Hopefully he hits 7th or better from now on. I don't like him 8th
 
My god what a dumb move to bring him up and make the stadium as loud as it's been since the day BJ left.
 
You can literally hear each person in his 20 person cheering section over the rest of the crowd. They really packed them in tonight!!!

It's good they announced the move yesterday to give the seamstresses 24 hours to get those jerseys on the rack.

The idea is that the 8th spot is hard for young players because they are often pitched around with the pitcher behind them. Swanson is probably disciplined enough to handle it though.

At least flip jace and Swanson. Jace seems to be looking for a walk most the time anyway

That's a good point, but he needs to see pitches to gauge the competition.
