I actually find it fascinating that people don't think that the US effectively begged Putin to invade.

The majority of MAGA are the same Republican voters who voted for Bush and called anti-war people unamerican for not supporting the war.

I agree that a majority did hold those thoughts at that time.

The propaganda worked on more people until we all found out that it was essentially all fake news.

If you mean they were tough on Putin instead of kissing his butt and giving him everything he wants like Trump wanted to do then sure. Not appeasing Putin led to his invasion.
