As far as LA vs. Montreal. Vlad won his MVP and his World Series there,

Thome to Cleveland is almost a given though, Vlad's LA vs. Montreal in PT was basically 1 season, about 600 PA. Basically 60% of Thome's career was spent in Cleveland. With 15% in Philly and little more than 15% in Chicago with a sprinkling between Minnesota, LA and Baltimore. Hardly comparable to Vlad. Only way Thome gets another is as a split.

34 bWAR as an Expo to 22 bWAR as an Angel. 148 OPS+ in 4200 PA compared to 141 OPS+ in 3600 PA's.

To me it's clear where he was best at and that the Hall just doesn't want anymore Expos in.

That's why I asked. Just clueless zito being clueless zito again. The Hall does allow player input so I'm guessing they felt MTL-ANA were close enough that they gave him the benefit of the doubt.
