So the libertarians are republicans when it comes to foreign policy?
I'm not surprised such a concept is foreign to you
in 1968 Richard Nixon ran on a secret plan to get us out of Viet Nam
in 2000 George Bush ran without a hint of invading Iraq. No sooner had the Clintons gotten in the station wagon the Bush Administration began plans to topple Sadaam Hussein
in 2008 Barack Obama promised his first act as POTUS was to close GITMO - then end the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan
History teaches to take candidates foreign policy campaign rhetoric/goals with the finest of grains of sand
I agree in concept with the (L) position on FP but also understand foreign policy rarely if ever follows through as planned
Your question makes me wonder what difference between (D) and (R) platform position on foreign policy
Because everyone is against foreign involvement until their house is 10 feet under water (or something like that )
My method is judge an individual candidates temperament and try to project that on how they would respond in crisis. Which was why I voted for Obama in 08 rather than HRC
Johnson has no track record and Trump is ...... well Trump
I keep hearing the phrase "economic freedom" but have never seen it defined.

Curious how you personally define the phrase
