Uggla for Soriano could work. Braves pay both salaries for 2014 about $15 mill Yanks pay Ugglas $13 mill for next year. Uggla could do well with change of scenery and short porch in NY.Soriano may benefit as role player back inNL
God, I hope not. Buehrle is just a few months away from becoming the next Jamie Moyer.
Maybe. Some teams do panic at the deadline...see the Tex trade for instance. They do need a 2b.
But would they do it?

It's much more likely to be what DOB speculated about: Boston's Andrew Miller, LHP who averages 14 Ks per 9 innings out of the pen. That is what sets up a monster second half.
I would've sworn this guy would never, ever throw strikes.
Like Ebby Calvin LaLoosh?
Ahh the days when Andrew Miller was the next ACE of the future, and Cameron Maybin was the next big thing.
Did the Pads really give him a long term deal?
We're frustrated with our offense, but that's a dumpster fire. Byrnes needed to get fired for that debacle.
Lol, His audition has gone very well wouldn't you say?
I will also add he plays exceptional defense at one of only spots on the field where anything you throw in with the bat is just gravy.
Overall what he's done has been good I suppose, but again: When you can't hit, your true value is limited. If he were as good a hitter as he is defender (and his defense was the part of his game lacking), he'd be a top 20 prospect. Instead, he's no where close.
Also gave Seth Smith $6.5 MM/year.
It's been good but he can't hit. Got it.
Smith has been fantastic. A steal at 6.5.
If you believe it will last, sure. I don't.
Look at his stats over his career. He never gets enough credit.
