Impeachment

House impeachment investigators released a new set of evidence late Tuesday night that were obtained from Lev Parnas, an indicted former associate of President Donald Trump’s personal attorney, Rudy Giuliani — including voicemails, photos, and text messages between Parnas and high-level figures within Trump’s orbit.

The evidence includes voice mail messages Parnas received form Giuliani and Victoria Toensing, a prominent Trump-aligned lawyer, both of whom have been identified as players in an effort to force the removal of the U.S. ambassador to Ukraine, Marie Yovanovitch last spring.

“Hey Lev. VT here. We’ve got a request to talk to the big one,” Toensing said in the April 23, 2019, voicemail message. “So I just wanted to get the latest from you, if I could. I know it’s late there. I’m sorry.”

so this completely exonerates chosen one...big one is someone else...complete total exoneration

WRONG. Trump already told reporters on the front lawn he doesn't know even know who Parnas is.

lol nunes so good. a month ago said he never had a call with Parnas. Now this:

Asked whether or not they spoke about former U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Marie Yovanovitch, Nunes asserted that the first time he “heard the name Yovanovitch was not until this impeachment sham started.”

Didn't see it, but I know the highight is: "Trump knew exactly what was going on."

Also said Barr was part of the team.

Oh please let Barr go to prison. I watched a documentary about doing life in prison and they make a good point, of you want to live a religious life it's far easier to do in prison than the outside world. If I was a judge and someone tried that "I found jesus bull**** or in any way tried to use religion to lessen their sentence I would give them the max and tell them I was doing it as a favor to then so they have more time to read the bible.

Just watching the interview now, going to bullet point what I find interesting

- I hope there are pictures of his shrine to Trump in his house. Really hope there is bodycam of the LEO finding it. Clearly this was just to throw people off his NeverTrumper trail.

- he says they were trying to collude with Poreshenko..... while the Mueller investigation was ongoing.... and the Quo in this case was to help Poreshenko win re-election. So out of Poreshenko and Zelensky we now know which one is the corrupt one. The one that took the deal. Zelensky needs to be behind bars. People on the streets dont get to claim they were strongarmed into crimes. It shouldnt work that way for corrupt Presidents either.

- what step are we in the Narcissists prayer right now?

This Parnas interview is incredibly damning.

But, then, it’s *all* been incredibly damning.

The problem here is not a lack of damning testimony, some of it from President Trump himself. It’s a lack of Republican senators who care about the country enough to do the right thing.

If you heard the same information as testimony under oath, backed up as it was by documents, you’d have to conclude that the scheme to damage Biden’s political chances, as has been broadly defined, is undeniable. Right? At this point it’s just a matter of whether or not you care.

It appears to me that there’s not *a* quid pro quo, but, like at least 4.

To Poroshenko: election assistance in exchange for dirt
To Lutsenko: removal of ambassador in exchange for dirt
To Firtash: dismissal of criminal case in exchange for dirt
To Zekenskyy: as discussed.

It also seems obvious that several parties are engaging in a network of legal relationships that are designed to hide potential corruption behind layers of attorney/client privilege.

The lesson seems obvious: If you are going to commit these sorts of crimes and abuses of power, you should commit many of them and be brazen about it.

Perhaps Rachel Maddow had already negotiated what questions she would ask but there were several that didn't seem to come up. Maybe they will in the Part 2.

- Why did Parnas give Giulinani $500,000?

- What did Parnas expect to get out of the whole scheme?

- If Parnas is such an honest patriot who respects the law, why was he doing Trump's dirty work in the first place.
