I know. I just watched a show on The History Channel called How to beat Evil. It was pretty cool. They interviewed the Guy from Poland who told Hitler to stop and Hitler did. Then they interviewed some guy from China who persuaded the Emperor of Japan to leave China and go back to Japan during ww2. Pretty good show.
Next week they are discussing John Adams and taking about how he asked the King for our freedom and then the king granted it. Amazing show. Shows all the instances throughout history where evil people are asked to 'stop' and they all comply.

You're comparing nation armies to a fraction of a religion that's then split into several militant groups. Not the same thing. Better support against them is to let them get marginalized in their own community, not give them firepower.

Just because we're better at killing them than they are at killing us doesn't make us the bad guys. I thought that the whole point to a conflict was to win it.

What did we do to cause the USS Cole to be bombed? Why did bin Laden call us a "paper tiger"? What did those innocent journalists do that deserved a beheading? You're dealing with people who are culturally stuck in the Middles Ages. Look, I'm not saying we're perfect. There isn't one nation on earth that is. However, creating some kind of moral equivalency between us and ISIS is absurd.

Yep. I always thank the heavens that the modern thought process wasn't around during WWII. We wouldn't have stood a chance in hell against the Axis Powers if it was.
