Looking forward to the next Saturday night Democrat debate.

How did Bernie ever win any election? Just roll over and show her your belly would you... Link

The coronation march continues.
I thought it was a reasonable response and far from the kowtow you imply. According to those polls, Hillary is perhaps more beatable than Bernie in the general, so what's your worry?

The problem Runnin is that he's in a battle with her - and the times he has to rattle her, he throws away. I don't get it. "Reasonable" with her and with her backing is going to get his clock cleaned.

Isn't his battle more with voters and the DNC than with Clinton?

Maybe he's:

* averse to personal attacks
* afraid of attacking her
* knows he really can't win
* wouldn't mind being Vice President

I take it no one watched
...

The high quality of the debate – the knowledge, experience, good cheer and respect shown all around – again called into question the inane decision-making of the Democratic National Committee. Why on earth are they trying to hide their smart, capable, appealing candidates from the world? The Republicans terrify the nation practically every week with their racist, sexist showboating, yet somehow the Democratic party thinks it wise to hide their competent alternatives away. I get the theory that DNC chair Debbie Wasserman-Schultz tucked these debates away in an effort to put her finger on the scale for Hillary; this may well be the case. But it’s a really bad case, succeeding only in giving the impression that Clinton needs special help when in fact she’s killed it in two of the three debates so far. Sanders has been great too, and the idea that only a tiny fraction of the country will have tuned in is terrible for the Democratic party and its front-running candidates.

Why?

We want Sanders, not a liar, a person that can email our nuclear codes away. She is not like her husband, the opposite, she wants power to control people. If the DOJ looks really into their emails and understand that it could make us even weaker to Russia and China as we are now, they would the right thing for the country, not political but for our sovereign rights.

Leopards don't change their spots and Hillary won't either.

Post debate fact checking finds HRC waded into some gray areas but no out and out fibs
Same with O'Malley

Discussing emails or Benghazi are lost causes for finding fault with HRC. Which leads me to one of two conclusions
1) There is a defintie gender bias at work with HRC
and
2) I am seriously re thinking my stance on voter eligibility. As evidenced here, on this forum, our population is grossly un informed on candidates and their stances. Unless of course we are talking about "free stuff"

I bet the apology was th eonly way he could access the database. Lawsuit isn't likely to settle quickly. It played perfectly into Hillary's and the DNC's hand. Even if Bernie wins the lawsuit it won't make a real difference. This was all inevitable. Why do you think it was the first question of the debate.

Also is there a snottier thing to say to an apology than "I very much appreciate that comment" what a snotty thing to say.

Could be any one of those - he's certainly not ready to duke it out with a Clinton.

May be Z. I think he's toast now though. You don't beat her playing the nice old guy card.

y'all talk about Sen Sanders as if he were running for the (R) nomination.

These debates have gone out of their way to not be a dog and pony show - but conversations about how we move forward.
And that they have. Agree or disagree with their stances

As opposed to spending 2 hours arguing about who has the biggest dick / who is capable of being the biggest prick.
You too whatever your name is from California.
Why is she even there ?

You know the woman that broke the tech company.
Or the black guy or the guy from Kentucky or the brother.

Not a word about carpet bombing last night from one of the two frontrunners.
When quizzed on carpet bombing the (R) candidate clearly knew nothing about -- carpet bombing.

How does one carpet bomb an ideology?

...

That people is why I come across as some hardcore (D) -- because one party doesn't have people coming to their debate stage proposing something not only that immoral but, that idiotic.

Unfortunately for Bernie he's got a very very slim chance. Hillary being Bill's wife will have her carry the black vote. Which means she will fly through the south. Sanders has to carry the Northeast, the West and split the midwest to have a shot.

Bernie is going to give his best shot while also not fire bombing the democratic side

he has said he won't run 3rd party cause it is too important for the democratic side to win even if it isn't him

weird that Bedell is driving him soo hard but my guess is you would rather him than hillary

of course

it's who i prefer to be president

but he isn't going to go scorched earth and hurt the overall party either and i don't think it's the way he is anyway. he tries to stay away from attacking and stays on his message of ideas etc (the opposite of the republicans)

Nicely done, 57... You managed to toss a red herring with an ad hominem into one sentence.

"She was favored to win, and she got schlonged,"

Were they referring to Rudy ?
or Rick Perry
or Fred Thompson
Or Newt
?

Ad hominem Ad shmominem

....

"I wouldn't hand it to Trump but I'd hold my nose and vote for him versus her."
"She was favored to win, and she got schlonged,"

nah no gender issues here

and let me add.

Hillary Rodham Clinton poses a more formidable existential threat to older white male america than Barrack Hussein Obama ever did.

From her first exposure to national politics stating she wouldn't be "... some stand by your man ... " wife or her announcing she wouldn't stay in the" ... kitchen baking cookies"

Truth be told, that was un settling. Suppose my ...
A role model ?

Disagree with her politics all you like - I do. she is in fact my 3rd choice to get the nomination - but show just a hint of social awareness . Outside the bubble it is pretty transparent

That makes me think less of him, then. Is he putting party politics over the good of the country? Isn't 57 always whining about that?

If he means what he says, then he should understand that HIlary would be a disaster for the country, especially for the alleged "shrinking middle class"

If all he cares about is the Ds winning, then he should go ahead and drop out
