Looking forward to the next Saturday night Democrat debate.

You used the adjective to describe her as a candidate, not merely her performance. Therefore, it doesn't matter whether I saw that specific event or not. Try again.

Why in the world would you use "authentic" to describe her?

Because that was what I saw Saturday.
Tell me about how Brietbart or Fox characterized ?

Kinda like telling me about a baseball game I saw that you didn't --- apples vs loaf of bread

Try again -- indeed

Now that Lindsey Graham has dropped out let's not be confused by the dog whistle of "Queen"

I don't see anyone here critiquing her policies. I see a lot of character and gender references -- but, no policy discussions.

chop, did you read the essay on sexism as it would apply to HRC?

I oppose her hawkish foreign policy and her pushing us into a Libyan conflict.

I oppose her stance on abortion.

I oppose her stance on SSM.

I am suspicious of her new college compact - I suspect it'll end up being a GovUniv boondoggle.

I am not convinced that her proposed minimum wage hike is prudent.

With her ties to Wall Street being what they are, her talk about reform is hollow. It's bloviating.

I'm opposed to her "No Child Left Behind" style views (btw, she's proud of her connection to that Bush doctrine) on K-12 education.

^^^Those are a few of my differences with HRC.

How did you see "authentic" in her then or now? I'm intrigued.

I don't know. I don't watch FoxNews and I seldom read a Brietbart piece.

You and I agree

I oppose her stance on abortion.
You and I disagree

I oppose her stance on SSM.
Again, we disagree

Tell me more about her college compact because there is a lot of mis information floating around. Surrounding both her and Sanders proposals

I am not convinced that her proposed minimum wage hike is prudent.
We disagree

As is everyone else in the race. I find Sanders stance naive. As much of a fan of Sen Warren I see little she could do as POTUS . Oldest axiom - he with the gold makes the rules

I'm opposed to her "No Child Left Behind" style views (btw, she's proud of her connection to that Bush doctrine) on K-12 education.

We agree on 4 of 7

Still, you and I seem to disagree on culture war issues.
Again

Body language, interaction with other candidates and moderators. She appeared more comfortable in her skin than I had seen her before.
More relaxed in her delivery - I'll give you some of it rehearsed but, watching I got the feeling she wasn't trying to impress me but simply having a conversation with 2 collegues.

I'll never vote for a candidate who's the lesser of 2 evils. I'll always vote for the one who I agree with the most. TO me there's no other way to vote.

I agree with you in primary contests - but in gereral elections no
That was how we wound up in Iraq -- too many people in Florida stubbornly voted for Nader.

You know it's all rehearsed right? The only guy on either side of the political aisle that isn't totally rehearsed in the debates is Trump. Hillary's problems lie in the fact that she's robotic and untrustworthy. She's not someone you'd want to hang out with and she just gives off this stench of, as Craig Ferguson once put it in regards to Newt Gengrich, "I think I hate you."

People voting the way you do is why we have 2 corrupt parties who run the whole nation instead of 4-6 parties.

And we wound up in Iraq because of cowards like Hillary and Biden who voted for political reasons instead of with their hearts and souls. if they did the former like Bernie or Ron Paul. If the 29 democrats who voted for the resolution voted against it in the Senate, we wouldn't have gone to war in Iraq. Don't blame Bush for a systematic issue that Hildog (the person you'll be voting for next November) is clearly a part of.

So you're willing to sacrifice your values so one corporatist peon will nominate a judge instead of a different corporatist peon?

sure

however you want to break it down is fine with me

it seems you can't see the forest because of the trees but whatever.

No, I choose to vote with conviction. My vote will always be for the person I think is the best president. Which means I'll probably never vote D or R, last cycle it was Gary Johnson, this cycle it will probably be Jill Stein. If more people voted with their hearts, we wouldn't have a 40+ year run of ****ty presidents.

Trump? Really?

He's a rock star. Hate him or love him. People can't seem to keep their eyes off of him. He's also managed to shrink his approval/disapproval disparity. So it will be interesting to see if he can continue that. He's also essentially finalized Jeb's campaign. He has the ability to finalize candidates which is really a unique ability. His ability to attack candidates is really something.

Once the brass decide to finalize him, he'll be out. He's getting ratings now, but when they want him out they will alienate him and no one will vote for him. Question is what candidate will become the party dog? I'm kind of leaning towards Kasich. I think he'll be the one that takes Trump out.

Rubio

I like Sanders ideas but I know it can't happen.

Billary is worst than Bill, who I liked, but Hillary takes the lying department to a whole new level.

But I am going to be hammered when I say this: Hillary will win but undo what Obama has done and be like her husband and work with both parties to solidify that his/her family is better than the Kennedy's.

She can do it and I think she is only doing this for votes (like the piece of **** pres we have now) and hoping the email stuff is just something the Reps brought up.

cool story

Has anyone here seen the old movie made from the Stephen King book, The Dead Zone? Christopher Walken was the star. Anyway, if you have seen said flick do you remember the guy trying to shoot up the political ladder towards the White House, Greg Stillson I believe was his name. That's who Rafael Cruz reminds me of, to a tee.

Great movie if you are into that.
