MINORS FRIDAY 5/12: All Night Games for a Change

I just feel like Touki is one of those all or nothing guys. He's either going to click and be amazing or never sniff the big leagues.

I agree with this, and my point is that I actually think he's starting to click. At least, that's what some of his numbers suggest. Obviously really early in the year, and he still has a long ways to go regardless, but the start to this year has actually been a very positive stop for him. It's just that we're all conditioned to see an 8.28 ERA and think he's been awful.

He has the stuff. I would love to watch one of his games.. but it is still cool to listen to the other teams broadcast (fire frogs radio will just go out regularly) and hear the other teams announcers get excited about certain pitches he has thrown.

I think many on here would appreciate what he COULD be when they get to look at him. I'm more excited about the walks than any other aspect of his game thus far. He typically undoes himself much in the way Folty does (he doesn't sulk though), but he's learning to pitch and not just throw. Also....I hate the umpire argument with a passion, but some of the lower level umps seem like volunteers. Absolutely awful. That curve doesn't help anyone as it literally fools so many people.

I think he has a long way to go, but I also am on the side of the fence that says he will turn it on. And soon.

So BA recognized the bats in the system this week. The farm is more well rounded than most would like to admit.

Seymour is 2-2 tonight and 8-16 since being promoted. Think he has any chance of playing in LF for Atlanta?

Ozzie manufactured a run with a liner to right, a steal, advance to third on a fly, and a score on a sac fly.
