I didn't even read through it all, but they put Stephen Vogt on there??? Wha....

I didn't either but Vogt was worse than FF last year (Vogt's best year as a pro).. and FF was hindered by wrist issues. NO CHANCE VOGT SHOULD BE 75!!!!!!!!!

The thing I notice is that there are some one-dimensional guys who excel at one aspect of the game (Simmons, Kiermaier) and some guys who are productive for their position (Vogt and Peralta). I can get the inclusion of a guy whose a great hitter or a great fielder, but is deficient in other areas, but to have guys on the list simply because they are a reasonably good hitter at a position bereft of good hitters is kind of ridiculous.
That would depend on how you rate Simmons defense. And I think how a team pays a player isn't 100% indicative of their value on the field. Teams have overpaid for certain abilities for years.

What is it good for.
If Inciarte can maintain his defense and improve a little at the plate, I suspect he will be. If Freddie stays healthy, I think he will as well. I don't doubt that there's also an anti-Braves bias, with the perception that the team will be awful (which might be true). I can't help but think that they are assuming Iciarte's defensive stats were flukish and that Freddie is injury prone, so they are anticipating fall off from Inciarte and continued injury troubles from Freddie.

What stat has Simmons as better? Not even fWAR does, any of the last three. Just stop. No one was ever going to pay $20MM for Simmons ever ever.

Freeman, yes without a doubt. But to complain because Ender isn't on that list is going way too far.
I don't think Inciarte is one of the top 100 players in baseball, and I don't think anyone really values him there. If he is able to sustain what he did last year for a couple more years, he might have a case.
I'm not saying he shouldn't be on there given some of the guys who are. I'm just saying I'm not going to go as far as saying he should be there.

You've got 30 teams. You have 8 every day positions, a SP and a relief pitcher, so 10 positions to consider (11 if you want to count DH).
The Braves don't have one player, position, SP or RP who would be top three at their respective position. Freeman is probably the highest ranked Brave in terms of their position relative to the league and he is probably 6th or 7th in any ranking of 1B. Now, it's possible you could have 6 1B listed as being in the top 25 or 50 of players in baseball, but I would say that in a subjective ranking, no one is going to want to load up on any particular position. I could see Freeman in a bottom 25 and be OK with that, but am not outraged he's not there.
So it doesn't surprise me that no Brave is on the list. That doesn't mean I necessarily agree with the list (I don't).
What it tells me is that there is no face of the Franchise no matter how hard they want to make Freeman that guy. Freeman's a good player an when healthy potentially very good. But he's not great relative to his 1B peers OR relative to a listing of top 100 players. And Freeman is by far the best on the team right now.
