Not really sure how this is even a debate....he's a top 10 pitcher, top 15 at worst.
 
MLB Network just reported that the Tigers are close to acquiring Price and Zobrist, but that is from a fake Ken Rosenthal on Twitter. The real Ken Rosenthal is not reporting that.
 
So looks like Tigers are getting Price. Does anyone here truly believe we can contend for a WS title with the roster as currently constructed? I knew there was no way we would get Lester or Price but a man can dream and in my opinion we truly need a pitcher like that at top of rotation to win in post season.

They had a long discussion about the Phils last night on the MLB network. Hard to know what to do if you are Amaro. Fans want a re-build, but do you just give these guys away? Something tells me Amaro probably isn't going to have to worry about decisions like these much longer. Phils are a dumpster fire.
 
Twins stole Milone IMO, he's a solid starter, would have been a nice addition to this team towards the back end of the rotation. Getting him for Fuld is absurb, I wonder if Wren asked at all about Milone because he should have offered Doumit for him.

Fuld is a decent 4th OF. I thought the Braves might be in on him as a replacement for Schafer, but Milone is a nice return for a 4th OF. I doubt we could have matched that given the composition of our team.

I wonder if it was the same guy who was screaming at Harold Reynolds last night? I'm no great Harold Reynolds fan (although I can't figure out why some hate him so much), but this guy was going off on Harold when Harold was basically right.
