I dismissed your two examples because they were not similar to Durant. Isn't that the point of the exercise?

TMac in his prime posted the same stat lines as KD, yes his %'s were 2-3% off but that doesn't change the fact that they were the same kind of player. People forget what a stud TMac was in his prime. So no, I'm not going to waste my time to find someone with the EXACT line as KD because that's just stupid.
Tmacs best year was probably 02-03:
32PPG (great)
.457 FG% (Good)
.386 3PT% (Great)
6.5 REB (Good)
5.5 Assist (Good)
1.7 Steal (Great)
Great great year. Close to Durants even though Durant is much more efficient and is a better rebounder. Problem with TMAC is that he basically only had 2 years that were this good. Durant is already on his second year and is 25 so I think its clear that you can't compare the careers. We may not even be able to compare peaks becuase Durant could possibly not be in his so keep trying.

For a 7 year period in his prime he AVERAGED 27 / 6.8 / 5.7......which is what KD is averaging, aside from APG. Obviously KD hasn't hit his prime yet but if he posts 30/7/5 for his prime, then good for him. He hasn't done it yet.
Also LOL at 5.7 APG being "good" for a SF

He averaged those points while being an average shooter. Durant is one of the best shooters the league has seen considering his volume. Also, the ball was in TMAC's hands more than in KD's. I think we are seeing that if KD didn't have RW to defer to that he would average even better numbers, probably even better than Lebron outside of 2pt FG%.

45% from the field and 35% from Three in those 7 years. KD for his career is at 48 and 38......seriously dude? TMac took 17 shots per game for his career and 21 during that 7 year stretch and KD is taking 20 a game this year. Give it up
So lets take TMACs prime years and lets include Durants first year where he shot horribly. MAKES SO MUCH SENSE! Even with that a diference of .03 is tremendous when you consider how many shots these two take.
You sir are a joke. Just admit that you acn't find anyone that is similar to Durant. KD is going to be a top 10 player as long as he wins some rings. Just accept it. If the season ended today he would be the MVP DESERVEDLY so over arguably the best player of all time. Enjoy!!!

That's all you have to go on, I also said IF KD does 30/7/5 for his prime then talk to me. You saying he's going to do it because of 3 months of play in 1 year is amazingly stupid....but it's what you do for every team you root for.
The Knicks are stuck in mediocraty and have one of the worst owners in all of sports. Who is going to go play there? Lebron laughed at the option as did Bosh. You had to sign an injury prone player to get a "star". I hope you guys sign Melo. Enjoy another 5 years of being the 4-7 seed and never being in the lottery.
If Williams is healthy the Nets could make noise in the playoffs. Their depth (like I said at the beginning of the year) is excellent. Even if they win a playoff series its a good thing. its all about building a fanbase with the youth of the boroughs. THe KNicks are horrible and will be that way for the next 5 years. Your best bet is to let that overrated bum walk and bottom out.
KD put those numbers up last year with better shooting numbers. Its so fun when its clear you have no clue what you are talking about. Remember when you said that KD would never be as good as Al Jefferson!!! LOLOLOLOL!

KD last year averaged 28 a game, not 30 and not 5 APG
THose are Tmacs AVERAGED numbers. He didn't post over 30 PPG his whole time. Neither will KD because he likes to defer to RW. If KD was the only player on a team he would dwarf TMAC inefficient numbers.

He averaged 32.1 and you can also make the argument if TMac played in this era when he was in his 20's he would've put up even bigger numbers due to the pace that teams play at now. 4 teams averaged over 100 in that year and 11 averaged over a 100 last year.
