So those Knicks.....wow

Melo says he doesn't know what needs to be done. How about trying to shoot less and make your teammates better by setting them up in position to succeed?

Bargs is a really good offensive player. JR Smith was very good last year.

I'm not saying that the Knicks are uber talented but its a joke how low his assist numbers are when you consider how much the ball is in his hands.

Why don't you say the same about Westbrook?

Westbrook averages less than 3 assists a game?

3 of the last 4 years Westbrook averaged more than 7 assists per game. Yes he is a PG but he is a different type of PG. He will get back to those assist numbers as the season progresses and he gets his legs underneath him.

Kevin Durant is basically the primary distributor on the team anyway because of how incredible he is.

GF, still don't think Durant will ever average 5 assists per game?

You were going by the amount of time the ball is in someones hands vs. their assist total, right? Westbrook touches the ball a heck of a lot more than Melo and averages 5.5 assists per game, right?

Durant could possibly do it, hasn't done it yet. Actually nice to see him spread the ball a little more this year since he's been a lot less efficient.

Lets see what Westbrooks numbers are my midseason when he has his legs underneath him. He had very little camp and preaseson work. He is still passing the ball plenty but of course is primarily a scorer. Nobody who watches OKC thinks what RW is doing is wrong. Sure, we would all like him to distribute more but his importance to the team is unquestioned.

That efficiency will skyrocket with a larger sample size. Durant will have a few seasons of more than 5 assists per game and you will again not admit you were wrong.

But, the reason why I said it many years back is because it was clear that Durant had both a willingness to pass the ball and a unique ability to pass the ball for a man his size. I think before its all said and done that Durant will have seasons of 6 assists per game. His game just gets better and better every year. I hope he gets a ring (tough in the Lebron era) because he will go down as a top 10 player of all time without question.

Im not sure what Melo should do.

Regards to Russ, pretty much what thethe said, he's averaged 6-7 APG every year but one.

And yes, he came back WAY sooner than everyone thought.

What can I say, they look awful. But its December 6th. Lets see where they are in March.

I'm no more wrong than the two of you about anything else with basketball (especially GF).
