NBA Thread

I watched a ton of him at Baylor, 2 things he does not do well are defend and rebound...he's a poor defender and an average rebounder, at best.

Well players learn and get better and I've watched him at the pro level. He does both of those thigns well when he gets a chance. I don't know what he was like in Baylor so I can only use what I see now.

I dont think much of PJ3.

I think hes trade bait tbh.

I do think Lamb could develop into a starter though.

He can only play in the minutes given to him. I'm not proclaiming the guy to be a star or even a starter. I'm just saying he will be a useful player for the Thunder.

You said you gathered your opinion from what what you've seen on the Thunder....what you have seen on the Thunder is, 10 minutes a game of garbage time. So please tell me how that opinion is a better tool for judgement than the 3 years at Baylor, or 2 years, whatever it was.

Players improve. They get in good developmental systems and learn how to play the game. Baylor was definitely a good system but some times players need to be around other talented guys to reach their potential. What I see now is what I use to evaulate. Again, I am not predicting stardom. I'm just saying that he isn't a stiff like you made him out to be.

Wall is an insanely talented player. I don't see enough of him though to make that comparison. I'd still take Westbrook because I'm a homer.

Please, those guys barely play. They will all be out of the nba in two years. This isn't like he was playing on Kentucky/Kansas/Michigan State.

Michigan St and Baylor have the same number of players in the NBA, currently. You have no idea what you're talking about....the Baylor teams of the last 2-3 years are some of the most talented in recent years.

Who are the players that Perry Jones played with that are even decent NBA players? They are all 11-12th man on benches.

You made a point that he has never played with talent or whatever stupid thing you said. He played on one of the best college teams during the time he was in college, it was loaded with all americans and top talent.........your point was stupid and not factual.

You are really going to compare the talent levels that he is playing with now compared to what he played with in Baylor? He didn't play with NBA calibar players. These guys are all going to be in the D-League in a year or two. Perry Jones is the only legit pro (and that isn't even a sure thing) on those teams. He is now playing on arguably the most talented team in basketball.

Baylor was absolutely stacked with Perry Jones. Pierre Jackson, Quincy Acey, Haslip, Corey Jefferson

You know nothing about college basketball, you don't even make sense with whatever point you're trying to make. The main reason Baylor always fell short was because of PJ3 and his lack of a motor, caring, whatever you want to call it. The dude was/is soft and failed to come up big in any of the big spots....go read any scouting report on him, it will all say the same stuff. Dude has all the talent in the world but just doesn't care or try...if you want to put your name behing those players, then go ahead but 9 times out of 10 they don't change their ways.
