Lebron going back to Cleveland. Good for him. Should have never left.

Good for him? Get that **** out of here. The fans should not welcome him back. After he turned his back on the entire city of Cleveland. Unfortunately they will be cheering him like he never left because that city is desperate.

Uh, yes he should have.

He left because it wasn't easy to win a title. Well he never did win a title in Cleveland. He leaves Miami for the same reason. It became too difficult to win. Please tell me how you can sit here and defend him. Tell me how this isn't a bitch move. Jumping from team to team like this.

I'm long past over analyzing LeBron's decisions off the court. Really is pointless to get worked up over.

Too difficult?

4 straight finals appearances & 2 titles doesnt sound too difficult

Again, LeBron will have his pick of any top FA he wants if it comes to that. The Knicks were terrible last year in a really weak conference. Melo + Marc Gasol does not equate to a championship squad. The Bulls' roster is so much better than the Knicks' is right now. Even if Melo goes back the Bulls are a better team. If Rose can manage to stay healthy? It's a wrap. Melo ain't winning anything in NY unless something totally drastic happens. He's going for the money and that's fine with me. I get that.

The math doesn't add up on the Bulls being able to keep their team intact and add Melo. Unless he takes an unprecedented pay cut.

Jackson found a way to get rid of Felton while getting a really solid pg back and second round picks in a great draft.

And they got rid of Chandler, and while he wasn't great last year, he's a solid big and good defender. Now they have Sam Dalembert. I'm not impressed.

I'm not sure I buy the Bulls as that much better than the Knicks. Rose basically hasn't played in 2 years...he's a massive risk. Considering the assets Chicago will have to shed to make room for Melo, they'd be one wrong cut away from Melo, Noah, and not a whole lot else. Not terribly different from the last few Knick years.

Why the assumption that the Knicks will be in perpetual mediocrity? They have no long term committments on the books. 14-15 will he a struggle, then they would have Melo and essentially a blank canvas. With Jackson in charge.

Bulls > Knicks right now, but let's not act like he's joining a roster on par with Miami, SA, or OKC. Chicago would still be far from a sure thing.

Joakim Noah, top 5 C.

Jimmy Butler, elite perimeter defender.

Rose, right ont he injuries but we will see there.

Taj Gibson, emerging player at PF.

It's BY FAR a better option than the Knicks and it aint close.

But staying with the Knicks whose roster is flawed as hell isnt a risk, LMAO.

Insert Melo and they are East favorites even with Bron back in Cleveland.

Other than Love and i guess Rondo, what else is there in the FA market next year. I love Marc Gasol but he isnt changing the Knicks to a title contender.

Love has said he'd re-sign with the Cavs, i wonder if they both wait it out, keep Wiggins and get Love to go with Kyrie and Bron too.

LOL ok. And why do you care, again?
He was never going to win the first time around in Cleveland. They did nothing for him. Yeah, he should have stayed and was a bitch for moving on. Ok bro.

Glad to see Bron back with the Cavs, now i can root for him again a little bit.

Cleveland LeBron was much more likeable than Miami LeBron.

Hope he gets a title there, would be awesome if he got that city a title.

But im a LeBron hater, right guys?

I'd rather have the future of Wiggins over the future of Melo.

Love is sure on board with going to Cleveland if LeBron is there. He's already said it.

This.

Love has said before he'd sign in Cleveland if LeBron went there.

Can the Cavs wait until next summer, keep Wiggins and max on Love?

Love/Wiggins/Bron/Kyrie would be dirty.

Show me how they sign Melo while keeping Taj and Butler, or is "I'll take a little less = I'll leave $50 million dollars on the table"

Staying with the Knicks is a risk, but people talk about the Bulls as if they're Westbrook, Durant, and Ibaka. Unless they convince Melo to take $17m a year, there will be no Jimmy Butler and no Taj Gibson. They will be Noah + Melo and pray for Rose.

If I was Phil, I'd tell Melo and the Bulls I'll do a S&T, but I'm asking for the house. Call Memo's bluff. Now that the Lakers did the Lin trade and Bosh is going to Houston, two teams who could have offered Melo max money can't offer him that anymore. It's stay with Knicks, go to Bulls for a **** ton less money, or go to Bulls as a max, but we're gutting them in the trade.

If Melo wants to win, he joins that team right now.

If he doesnt care about winning, and wants his wife happy, stay in NY and win nothing for the next 5 years.

He would have to take much less but not like hes signing for league-minimum.

Which is a helluva lot better than anything the Knicks can offer.
If Rose is healthy (I understand, risky) it's not even relatively close. It's a blowout. If he wants to win, he should take that risk. He won't win anything in NY. Again, it's fine if he just wants the money.

In your opinion

The Bulls should be trying really hard to do with Boozer what the Rockets just did with Lin. Just dump him along with a pick. I'm pretty sure they can offer him 4/96 right now as it is. But the Knicks can offer more.

He could also take the MLE from the Spurs if he cares about winning. I just don't see him going to Chicago when the gap is in excess of $50M. Who would?

Lol ok. The Knicks have nothing. Sorry, man. Their biggest draw is Jose Calderon.
Honestly, what do the Knicks have that compares to Noah? There would be nothing outside of Melo, and he isn't a lead man (as he showed last year).
They'd have to hope a HUGE FA comes in to help him out.
And Chicago has a great coach. Knicks...not so much.
Strictly basketball decision, it isn't close.
