NBA Thread

Also, people want to liken the KD situation to what Lebron just did. KD has been out of the DC area since he was 18. Lebron only left Cleveland for four years when we was 26. KD could possibly consider OKC home as much or more than he considers DC home now. People relocate all the time.

You will see Pierce help you guys out in a small lineup. He was excellent at defending the 4 and caused a lot of matchup issues in the halfcourt. Obviously this isn't mid 2000's Pierce but he was still really good last year.

Ricky Rubio reportedly wants a five-year, max extension from the Timberwolves.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

:YDS:

Well Rubio's max would differ from a Chris Paul's max, right? Isn't a max contract based off on the individual player.

Nice move by the Wiz getting a quality big man on the cheap.

Roster is pretty deep plus have 10 million to spend if need be and have virtually cleared house for the 2016 run at Durant (or someone else)

Wall/Miller
Beal/Rice
Pierce/Webster/Porter
Nene/Humphries
Gortat/Seraphin/Birch

Also possible....Singleton, Gooden, Harrington, Temple

Im not the biggest Andre Miller fan, but he's ok for 15-20 minutes a game....really wish they would have just drafted Clarkson. Hopefully Beal takes the next step and becomes an all star. Pierce gives them some help in late game situations and won't be relied on to play heavy minutes. If we get anything from Porter, could be up there in contention for the 2-3 seeds. Humphries provides very good depth for Nene/Gortat.

Wizards are going to skull**** the Hawks.

Cool, but your talking **** about...pro basketball. Thats what folks talk about when they got jack **** else to trash talk about. Congrats, you are the Georgia State of fans.

Besides, they aren't a real threat to win anything. The exact same thing that you ragged the hawks for.

Miller fan.

He doesn't hurt you when he is out there if you limit his time. The team won't miss a beat.

I love ya man. Still a troll at heart!

I think the Hawks will be pretty good assuming Horford can play well again. They have some underrated players IMO.

Don't really follow pro basketball, but they aren't terrible. GM did a nice job unloading the unloadable contract in Joe Johnson. Freed up some space and all, but its still tough to get people to play here. Which is really odd considering half the NBA lives in Atlanta in the offseason it seems like. We need a hometown superstar to become draft elligible just as we get the no 1 pick.

I didn't start it. Niners came out ****ting on the Wizards and claimed the Hawks were better than the Wizards.....which is pretty laughable. They have 1 guy that would start for the Wizards. (Horford). Their backcourt is Jeff Teague and Kyle Korver. THey have no bench.

Here is some explanation:

Loser: Atlanta Hawks

No one will take Atlanta’s money, despite a good core of players, a very good coaching staff, and an innovative style of play Mike Budenholzer has only just begun installing. Some stars won’t even meet with them. I almost wanted to hug Budenholzer when I saw him in Vegas. The most common theory among insiders for Atlanta’s lack of appeal is that players see the Hawks as a dull franchise with a dead crowd and a limited postseason history that almost always involves NBA TV.

That will turn around at some point, but just about everyone Atlanta has approached so far rebuffed the Hawks’ invitation to get in on the ground floor.

Millsap wouldn't start. That's pretty laughable.

This is nothing new.
