NBA Thread

So they are actually wearing jerseys with player nicknames on the back? Seriously? One of the stupidest ideas I've ever heard. My already low interest in the NBA just gets lower.

It really is a shame that Livingston got hurt early in his career. That kid was going to be a damn good player. Even as a shell of his former athletic self he is doing a solid job.

I can't believe the Nets are still winning games without their two best players. Looks like both NY teams are heading towards the playoffs now. Good for NY.

I'm rooting hard against them, and for Sacramento and Charlotte; as a Bulls fan, I need both those latter two teams to finish outside the bottom-ten (preferably in the ten-to-fifteen range) for draft pick purposes—especially since the Bulls refuse to lose and improve their own pick.

Thibs competitive fire is going to cost him his job. Even with Roses injury, the Bulls are still in great shape moving forward stockpiled with first round picks and that overseas player that everyone raves about. Also, it helps they play in a huge market. He needs to relax a bit.

How are the Bulls in great shape? Their franchise is a walking injury with bad knees....

It's going to be Rose/Noah and a bunch of kids....that's not going to mesh with Thibs.

Obviously it all depends on how Rose recovers. As you can see with OKC so much depends on having a stud PG.

Even if Rose is 80% of what he was the Bulls will be real good.

An 80% Rose with Noah and a bunch of rookies isn't winning **** in the East. Even with a 100% Rose, that's not good enough....plus Thibs hates management for not giving him a contract extension and then trading away Deng. I would guess Thibs won't be in Chicago after his deal is up but money can change that.

You're forgetting Taj Gibson, who's shown enough offense this season to make me think he's a viable starter replacing the amnestied Boozer, plus Jimmy Butler, who will be in his third year; I also like the development Snell has showcased, though he'll only be in his second year so I guess he might quality as a "kid."

Bringing Mirotic over, securing one to two picks in this draft additional to their own, and making a few depth signings, and I think the Bulls can secure a top-four seed in the East next year, and be a legitimate contender the year after that.

They can because they East is dreadful but I think Thibs is rather frustrated with Chicago and it's starting to show. Money talks, so we will see

Perkins rolled in a little bit later. showed up last night too, luckily he didn't try to fight anyone.

BTW, Westbrook aint gonna be back for awhile.

Oh, they invited Perk to hang out this time? Or he crashed the party? I know he got angry last time when they ditched him...

This made me lul

GSW pickup Jordan Crawford and Marshon Brooks from Boston. They are going to be very scary come playoff time, especially when they get some of their bench guys healthy.

Weird how a top 10 player of All Time keeps losing to worse teams.................

Because he's missing a top 5-10 player in the world?

Mia is 4-4 or 4-5 without Wade, cant do it alone.

Team is a joke without Russ.
