"Heather Mac Donald writes about the pandemic of violence that spread across America after the killing of George Floyd. Her excellent article includes this statistic:

Between 2012 and 2015, blacks committed 85.5 percent of all black-white interracial violent victimizations (excluding interracial homicide, which is also disproportionately black-on-white). That works out to 540,360 felonious assaults on whites. Whites committed 14.4 percent of all interracial violent victimization, or 91,470 felonious assaults on blacks.

Blacks commit around 70 percent of black-white interracial homicides. I take it that, as a statistical matter, the “expected” number is 50 percent for all forms of black-white interracial violent crime.

Is the vastly disproportionate number of violent crimes by blacks against whites explained by black racism? Not necessarily. It might be the product of the disproportionate propensity of blacks to commit violent crimes against anyone. But the explanation must be racism, criminality, or both.

In all events, these numbers render absurd the claim that racist America is waging war against “black bodies.” When whites encounter blacks, it’s “white bodies” that are in greater jeopardy. (As a statistical matter, neither set of bodies is normally in danger.)

We almost never see the statistics on interracial violence presented above. It’s politically incorrect, and probably impolite, to bring them up.

I’m fine with that — until our cities are trashed and burned by mobs on the pretext that white racism makes blacks, as a group, unsafe in America."

Someone who wants real change and not useless libetal pandering effectively insulting black peoples intelligence.

The data is very clear and no amount of qualitative information can change that.

All of this rioting is built on a lie.

"mistake" my ass

they purposely lied because they knew that the vocal enablers ( you know who you are) of the Trump administration would take the ball and run with it.
On both accounts

I am learning that every time one of our board enablers ( you know who you are) calls someone stupid or some other lame 4th grade attempt at insult
we can bank there is a lie involved and they bought it
hook , line and sinker

It’s fascinating with all the online content that you constantly post (probably as much or close to thethe in quantity) and have admitted you don’t really research as you should) and think you are immune from this (not the 4th grade comments).

I’d throw out a crazy percentage that most of these tweets and all are slighted or half truths. So I don’t really see any difference.

No disrespect meant, it just seems inevitable with the current climate, so I don’t get the jab.

Is Barr importing positive tested prison guards to patrol D.C. and spread the virus among the protesters?

The solutions are simple. The protesting and lootimg should never end until marijuana is legalized. Dont ask for basic human rights. Demand it.

Buffalo cop who assaulted the 75 year old man to be charged. The thing is he is getting a low class felony. Justice is equal time for equal crime. What it says by giving cops far less time than a person who does the same crime to a cop is not acceptable. What it is saying is that our lives are worth less than a cops. That offends me to my core.

When we ask cops how do we prevent crime they say we need longer sentences. Why is that a good strategy to prevent crime by the public but not cops?

Dont feel like looking up each of those people but several are Democrats. I cant really fathom that someone thinks it's the Democrats who will stand in the way. I would guess Trump is a 99% chance he vetoes it and probably 50/50 that Biden would veto it. Biden is giving lip service to the issue but I know of nothing he has ever done that was against cops.

all Democrats

surely there is a Republican out there who will support this bill...anyone?

New age of Maoists trying to take over our country. Just sitting idly buy and cheering it on.

Some of you welcome it but others I think just aren't seeing the reality on the ground. This **** is real and it has nothing to do with George Floyd.

I wouldnt say nothing but very very little is about Floyd. Protesters need to arm themselves. I have yet to see police abuse armed protesters. Trust me on this, armed peaceful protesters will do far more than violent protesting.

I believe there are states where you have to put a good sized amount of money just to even attempt to sue a cop. My Google-fu is failing me at the moment.
