Neverending **** the Police thread.

Lawyer for Bothams family said Mr. Brown who was recently murdered feared for his life if he testified and actually fled the state out of fear. It was only after threats by prosecutors that he returned to testify. He met with the judge and told her of his concerns.

Police are claiming they have his killer in custody and that the was murdered in a drug deal. I dont buy that.

I want to say I love him wearing a DBZ shirt to court. I hate this idea that you have to dress up for court.

Omar and a tie, man. Omar and a tie.

To clarify these men might be the killers but I doubt this was a drug deal. I guess this is the third death we can blame on Guygers actions.

Also the judge had an ethics complaint filed against her for hugging the convicted murderer and giving her a bible. I am 100% sure cops would protest her if she hugged a cop killer. I know of one guy who was convicted of killing a cop(his buddy did) and even after he got out NYPD followed him and harassed anyone that would associate with him and he didnt even kill a cop. His partner did it but by association he was charged/is technically guilty of killing a cop.

Ok, tolerance break over. I'll calm down now

Chicago PD Inspector General report from 2016 released today shows that 12 officers helped try to cover up the murder of Laquan McDonald.

Florida inmate records all kinds of bad **** going on in prison. Widespread fighting and drug use with the staff not giving a ****.

And Fort Worth police killed another innocent black person in their own home on a welfare check call. Hopefully the cops feelings arent hurt.

Cop arrests Lyft driver for driving a stolen car..... that he was fully aware was not stolen...... actually charged with false imprisonment. I am shocked.

Press conference about the murder of this woman. Very nice to see the Police Chief show some integrity here and not choose the thin blue line over justice. This cop shot a woman who looked out her window in less than 4 seconds. As the chief says, unless there is an active shooter inside the home there is no reason to shoot that quickly. How do you respond to a cops orders in under 4 seconds without making quick and sudden movements which would then be used to justify killing you. I think this is pretty obvious, saw the black skin and assumed she was a criminal, much like Amber Guyger, shoot first and ask questions later.

I'll pump the brakes on the race angle. The officer was looking at someone through a window with blinds at 2 AM. Considering the lighter complexion of the victim, I'm not sure the officer could have determined the race of the victim in a matter of seconds. If this was a predominantly black neighborhood (no idea if it was), I would see that as more likely contributing if race was a factor.

That doesn't let the officer off the hook at all though. What he did was utterly inexcusable. Too many officers have a god complex. The power goes to their head and they itch to pull the trigger. It's absolutely contemptable.

I also think there's too much focus on race in police shootings. It covers up a larger problem of a system that covers for police when the police step over the line. Whether the shooting is racially motivated, driven by the victim sassing the cop, or just a cop looking for a chance to shoot, the system does everything it can to protect them. Report on racially motivated shootings but do it as a part of the larger, systemic problem.

Police officers convicted of beating an undercover cop who was in the crowd of protesters. Sad thing is the cops freely admit if this victim wasn't a cop they would have got away with it. The 4 cops exchanged texts saying how much they love old beating up protestors for unjustified reasons. One literally texted "going rogue does feel good"

This is why cops get so mad at NFL players kneeling in protest at football games. If they protest on the streets cops have free reign to crack their skulls and charge them with any crime they want. Even if you beat the charges you will still spend a lot of time behind bars and spend a lot of cash on lawyers. Cops have no consequences for making bad arrests. They dont even track how many arrests a cop makes that turn out to be fraudulent.

Wow. Cops reach a new low. Cop beats up and arrests a 15 year old quadruple amputee. I mean wtf. Was he going to run away? Was he going to lull a gun and shoot him with his nubs? Not only did they arrest and assault him but they assaulted and arrested the person who filmed the arrest. You can see when they arrest the person for filming them they slam his head into a wall just to make sure he knows who is boss. Isnt that what El Presidente said cops should do to people?

Heres an interesting article about the DEA convincing people to rob fake drug houses. Funny thing though, they overwhelming target black people. In the SDNY they targeted 179 people over 10 years. 177 black. 2 Hispanic. The other issue is they are charging the people based on the imaginary weight/price of the non existent drugs and cash they tell the person in the house. So they can claim it was 1000 kilos and a million dollars in cash which significantly impacts sentencing.
