Sounds like some sour grapes on the part of the Twins. They thought they had a deasl done, medical didn't check out, and now they're complaining it was really just cold feet on our part.

I can think of a million better excuses the Braves could have used than implying a potential injury to the pitcher they're trying to trade.

So, yeah, I call BS.

If Burdi was the guy the Braves were interested in obtaining, there are a ton of reasons to be concerned about medicals. The guy is out until the middle of 2018 and he had injury problems prior to his TJS. Cold feet? I wouldn't be surprised if the Braves had frostbite.

If the Braves add some cash, the return could be someone like Ryan Cordell. He is a RHed OFer in the Brewers crowded system of OFers. He can play CF and could possibly be that "better than 4th OFer" the Braves will need if they are going to have Kemp/Markakis in the corner OF spots full time.

I realize it's easy to say Garcia's value has increased due to a single start, but how much?

Everyone is willing to argue about his value, but nobody seems to be willing to actually answer that question...
