One positive here at least for playoff considerations is good to see Dodgers weakened. I know we beat them but at the end of the day its a team that won 106 games and underperformed their expected win / loss record. Pound for pound they are still the team to beat and the team I'd most prefer to see lose some key parts.
On Freeman unlike the Ozuna signing and others, we really can't afford to let it linger. Our entire path forward is totally contingent on where we land with him so strategically its to our benefit to lock this in so we can have as much clarity as possible on what we can do either way.
