When did I do that? In fact just a few posts up I said:

"Honestly, it's a win-win. Both guys come out looking bad here. Harper makes an ass out of himself and Angel once again shows he is not a good ump."

Both things can be true. Harper acted the tool that he is and Angel Hernandez is a bad ump.

You defended the call by saying that it wasn’t that bad when it clearly was. So, yes, you are defending Hernandez by extension.

Not sure that was more of a defense of Angel as it was him minimizing a horrible call to fit his hate for Harper. Harper flew off because it was Angel and his immediate tossing of Harper when he dissagreed with him. Angel thinks he is bigger than the game and players and probably other umps hate him.

It was a pretty horrible call.. I haven't seen a single analyst or person say he even got close to swinging. Angel, as usual, flipped a coin and then acted like a baby by tossing Harper.. The bat never even made it to the plate much less crossed it.
 
Kapler gone in SF, per Passan. Think the roster is their biggest issue, managers dont have THAT much impact on a game, say in basketball/football where coaching matters a good deal.

Gabe Kapler makes Snitker look like the President of Mensa. There’s more to managing than in-game decisions. I’d argue that Kapler’s Personality, on top of his stupid in-game decisions would even affect a team like Atlanta. He’s bad
 
After the Cubs announcers (and fans) complained for multiple days about the 2 minute delay from Acuna, I am very much enjoying their complete and utter collapse.

I thought gabe was the stat heads wet dream? Wasn’t he so by the numbers he’d swap relievers back to back to back etc?
