Thethe. You just made a circular argument. You can’t say don’t judge a person for what they do in their private room but saying people can’t label that person a morally bad person. No one here claimed it to be criminal. Just despicable how he gets his rocks off. That is one persons o n personal opinion. Dude by own admission enjoys some weird and probably line crossing activities. That might be someone you don’t want around or some won’t care. But this isn’t about believing the girl. It is about someone who sucks as a human.
 
Tampa had the lowest playoff attendance in major-league baseball since 1919. They announced attendance was 19,704. Not including Covid year obviously. Embarrassing

I saw that yesterday. It's honestly really hard to believe. I get not having a ton of fans in the area... but what the hell.

That is lower than their average attendance this year. It is hard for people to get off work and school to go to a weekday game in the middle of the day. It isn't even a true afternoon game where you can be home by dinner or if you work a night shift. It is middle of the day where no one can go. It is complete BS that the Rays potentially have all 3 games at that time slot.

Bullpen has come together for them better than I thought it would. Royce Lewis looks like the real deal and while Correa had a big-time off-year, he can put on the big boy pants. I wouldn't be surprised to see them get past the Astros.

You know it's ok to admit that both parties are pretty ****ty people. Bauer deserves to be vindicated as the woman was clearly extorting him. Bauer also admittedly performed acts on her that were borderline sexual assault. I really don't know why this is the hill you have chosen to die on.

Seems that way. But she was unconscious for a portion of it. Something he admitted to in text conversations. He also admitted on a recorded call to punching her repeatedly during sex. Whether it's consensual can be a bit of a gray area. I think it's quite clear she was baiting him in order to extort him, and that absolves him legally. But it doesn't exactly excuse his actions either.

I do notice a tendency these days for folks to die on the hill of truly awful people.

I'm not sure exactly what it is, but the more awful the better it seems.

Choking someone out and continuing to have sex with them. Punching someone so hard during sex that it fractured her skull and had to be treated at the ER for it. These are things he freely admitted to. It doesn't matter if she was baiting him to extort him. The fact he was fine with performing these acts in the first place is unconscionable.

As an aside, my old college friends brother was one of the Duke Lacross players falsely accused of rape. Of course was later found innocent, but he life was destroyed for several years and still has the stigma about it to this day.

There is a clear victim here and it ain't the psycho lady
