Official Post Season Thread

you have to be naive if you think everyone was only chanting his first name

I’m talking about what the ****ing article said. It was implying that the Yankees fans were making light of his mental disorder by chanting “Donald.” The Twitter comments were saying it was disrespectful too. I never said that’s all they chanted.

Freddie underwent surgery on his elbow. Good to hear.

I've suffered from bone spurs in the past and laughed every time he (or the dumb ass beat writers) said it didn't affect him. It for sure does, if anything, from a mental standpoint.

Both teams in the ALCS using BP arms to start the game.

It’s 2019, and it’s time for the Braves to take notice of what the smartest teams are doing.

I don't disagree with you. However, serious question, what is the cost of the Yankees bullpen? Certainly not a number we can afford. Seems like they spent all of their money there instead of on starting pitching. Which in the end may be their downfall.

I recommend reviewing the resources the Yankees spent to build their rotation. Tanaka and Happ earn more than any pitcher on the Braves. They traded for Paxton. Claiming they didn’t spend resources in the rotation is silly.

Then look up Chad Greens salary...he started this game for them.

Their downfall will be the fact the Astros are amazing, and they are also using BP arms in this game.

Ok but you didn't answer my question.

Chapman: 17 mil
Britton: 13 mil
Ottovino: 9 mil
Betances: 7 mil
Kahnle: 1.3 mil
Green: 600K

Overall their bullpen is close to 50 mil. That's close to 40% of the Braves payroll. How many teams can afford a 50 million dollar bullpen?

When did they change the ground rules at Minute Maid? Remember when Russ Ortiz caught a ball that hit the roof in the 2004 playoffs, but it was ruled a dead ball?

Most likely Cole/JV vs Scherzer/Stras the first 2 games, get your popcorn.
