OT Immaculate Grid

I think you either have to hit like .330+ and/or refuse to walk to get to 200 hits.

Really just need to play 162 games consistently, hit above. 300, and hit 1st or 2nd in the lineup. I didn't realize Barry Larkin missed so many games during his career. Only played 150+ games maybe 3- 4 times during an 18 year career. Honestly, it's impressive he had as much career WAR considering the time he missed.

Rickey was the same way. Only played 150+ games once in his career.

Went low today with Charles Johnson at .6% for the Marlins all-star tile and Huston Street at .1% for all star and 40 Dave saves tile.

I played twice (phone and computer), and these were my lowest between the two.

Marlins/Red Sox - Jarrod Saltalamacchia - 3%
Marlins/Twins - Jim Eisenreich - 0.2%
Marlins/all-star - Carl Pavano - 0.07%
Red Sox/Brewers - Alex Gonzalez - 0.2%
Red Sox/40+ saves - Derek Lowe - 2%
Twins/Brewers - Corey Koskie - 1%
Twins/40+ saves - Rick Aguilera - 4%
Brewers/all-star - Greg Vaughn - 0.2% (surprised it was that low)
All-star/40 saves - Robb Nen - 0.3%

Other guesses:
Marlins/Red Sox - Adam Duvall - 8%
Marlins/Twins - Luis Castillo - 4%
Marlins/all-star - Charles Johnson - 0.7%
Red Sox/Brewers - Mark Loretta - 0.4%
Red Sox/40+ saves - Tom Gordon - 0.2%
Twins/Brewers - Jorge Lopez - 1%
Twins/40+ saves - Eddie Guardado - 8%
Brewers/all-star - Jeromy Burnitz - 0.5%
All-star/40 saves - John Smoltz - 2%

If you open an incognito tab you can play with a fresh board.

Uggggh, I ****ed up today and typed the wrong name in.I meant ot put in for Min/Fla Carl Pavano but just typed in something buckwild instead. I don't even know.

Lows today were Ryan Dempster Marlin Allstar (0.09) Hank Aaron Brewer ALlstar (0.4%) and Steve "Bedrock" Bedrosian for All Star 40 saves (0.1%)

Only common pick was Jackie Bradley JR. Took a lot of brain power to get Lowe and Guardado for my closers.

A wild 0.009% pull this morning with David Weathers for the Mets-Cubs.

Other low ones:
Endy Chavez at 0.1% for Mets/.300 BA
Harold Reynolds at 0.4% for Mariners/.300 BA
Joey Cora at 0.7% for Mariners/Cleveland

Surprised that Roberto Alomar for Baltimore/.300 BA only had 1% and that Palmeiro for O's/Cubs only had 4%.

Albert Belle for CLE/BAL was my high one at 17%.

Went low with just about every pick today. My highest % was Robbie Alomar for Balt/Cle cause I couldn't think of an obscure reference. Although I almost went with Millwood, but I couldn't recall if he pitched for Baltimore or not. Looks like he would have been .3%.

Every other pick was 5% or less, with 4 picks < 1%. The pulls I am most proud of are Shawon Dunston CHI/NYM @ .8% and Terry Mulholland SEA/CHI @ .3%.

Like you, I also pulled Weathers, but for Cleveland/NYM and it was .02%, which is strange that yours was lower, considering he only spent a very forgettable 9 games with Cleveland during his career. Not sure who else is pulling David Weathers in that spot. And this was mostly a lucky pick for me, as I knew he played for Mets but I thought I remembered him pitching in Cleveland for multiple years. Guess I got Cleveland and Cincy mixed up. But it worked out in the end.

Its bs that they wouldn't let me use Mike Bordick for a .300 season for the NYM. He was traded to the Mets and hit .300 for both Baltimore and NYM that season.

Incorrect. Mike Bordick hit .300 only once in his career, and that was in Oakland.

Mike Bordick deprived me of my first sub 100 rarity score ever.

I've been waiting to use obscure relievers like Arthur Rhodes and Turk Wendell for weeks now. And not as famous players like Burnitz.

Only remembered Jeff Fassero because my name is Jeff and I traded him on my team in Triple Play 98 lol.

Today wasn't a great but mid showing for me. Got a few really low ones (Boog powell for CLE/BAL, Paul Byrd for NYM/CLE and Edguardo Alphonso as a mets 300 hitter) all my percentages were low (highest was Cliff Lee for Sea/CLE at 8%) but I missed SEA/cubs. I legit coudln't think of anyone at the time (realize now Moyer should have been obvious) which let me down. cost me a rarity score of 48 and instead pushed it over 100.

Chad Qualls @ .10% and Danys Baez @ .09 % were my lows today. But missed 1 tile trying to go low with Asdrubal Cabrera.
