Huge spike in home runs hit. He was never a high homer player before the last two seasons. There isn’t hard work any longer. It’s about taking shortcuts in baseball now.

His spike in homeruns coincided with him hitting his prime and homeruns overall in the league spiking. IMO the balls are being juiced unless you think everyone in baseball is now taking steroids because the league set a record in 2016 for most homeruns every and broke that mark this year by a large margin. So either everyone is doing it again like in the late 90's and early 00's or baseball itself is inflating homerun totals. I believe it's the later otherwise the homerun spike wouldn't have started in the 2nd half of 2015.
