What like this years numbers?

I don't blame Ryan for not being good at 37. He never had a big arm so those kinds of guys will not age into their late 30's well.

He was just in a great situation with lots of weapons and he was a good QB. The idea that he is put up there as one of the great ones is what I outright reject.

I meant offense is down across the league right now. its brutal.

Fair enough. Lots of average QB's floating around and the great class is getting older.

I think another big issue is that parents are just not letting their kids play football as much so the talent pool is getting worse.

Ranking in all time lists are irrelevant. As the nfl continues to open up for offense Ryan’s career numbers won’t look as good.

I don't think the NFL is going to keep opening up for offenses.

Of the top 10 in single season passing yards, only 4 have happened in the last 5 years. Top 20 you add 2 more. Most of the list (12 of 20) were from 2011-2016 which was the culmination of max QB and receiver protection coupled with guys like Peyton, Brady, Brees, Ryan, Stafford, etc. throwing a ton.

There is a ton of mediocrity in the NFL right now.

Basically you have Allen and Mahomes as the only only guys having standout seasons right now. Maybe Lamar too, though he's hit a rough stretch. Saquon to at RB. Other than that, a lot of mediocrity.

QBs are a little down this year. RB average per carry for the bigger stars is through the roof so far.

Who beats the Eagles? They won't go undefeated, we know that, but they're in a fantastic position to go undefeated. Eagles have the easiest remaining schedule in the NFL. Let's go week by week here.

Home vs. Commanders
At Indy
Home vs. Packers
Home vs. Titans
At Giants
At Bears
At Cowboys
Home vs. Saints
Home vs. Giants.

The tough stretch for them will be that 3 game road trip. Giants and Cowboys are good teams. Giants aren't really that good but they're the team who seems to get every bounce their way this year. Dallas is probably the second best team in the NFC (it's a debate between them, SF, and Seattle) and their home record is solid. That I think is the highest probable loss for them and if they're undefeated until then that will be the team who will most likely eliminatethem from perfection. But let's go each matchup

vs. Commanders - Almost certainly a win, bottom tier team, at home. Unless the eagles overlook this game they shoudl win.
At Indy - ALmost certainly a win. Indy is one of the worst teams in the NFL (sorry Matt, didn't realize they'd be a joke when you were traded) and Dome teams don't usually hold much of a homefield advantage.
vs. PAckers - Packers have beena hot mess this year. But they're still a decent team and Aaron Rodgers was the MVP last year, he could get hot. This is the first potential loss but I think they win.
vs. Titans - Titans are a middle of the pack NFL team, if this was in Tennessee it would be interesting, but can they challenge the eagles in December in Philly? No
at Giants - Giants aren't a great team. They're super lucky to have the record they have. But that luck could hold on and there's certainly a homefield advantage to playing in the Meadowlands. Giants can run th eball pretty well and december games in the north east can benefit them. This is one I expect the Eagles to win but a few bad bounces or bad play calls could switch the result
at Bears - Chicago is a terrible team. But it's a cold chicago game. Could be played in the snow even. This is the kind of ugly game that could be an upset even if it should be an easy Eagles win.
at Dallas - Easily the hardest game. I think this will be their first loss. Though I've given them 3 potential chances to lose. The eagles are a good runnning team. And going to Dallas at a point that knocking the Eagles out of perfection is enough of a motivation for Dallas to show up. And Dak will be looking for blood. I think they lose this game.
vs. Saints - Should be an easy W. Not a very good dome team coming to Philly in January? Lol. Though I'll say who's the idiot who scheduled an Eagles game at 1 on the day of the Mummers parade.
vs. Giants - This is spicy. Giants were spoilers in the superbowl to the last undefeated team. Will the Eagles be playing all their players in this game with presumably the number 1 seed locked up?

Their rush defense has been an issue hasn't it? Going up against some of the best rushing teams in the league to finish the season certainly doesn't seem promising. They almost lost to Houston, so I don't think you can any game an easy win.

Don't sleep on Indy. They still have Jonathan Taylor if he can ever get healthy. And their defense is solid.

Packers are a mess right now, but any team QB'd by Rodgers is capable of winning any game against anyone.

Cowboys and Eagles was a tough match up the first game and the Cowboys were without Dak. Also it's at Dallas. I expect a Dallas win.

I don't expect the Titans to win, but King Henry is back doing King Henry things and when our defense is healthy, they are a force. That game will depend on the health of Tanne. Malik Willis isn't beating Philly.

Giants are a solid team and SaQuon is arguably your mid-season MVP. Not a cake walk here either.

Their run defense isn't great. But I wouldn't mark it as terrible. Houston was a tough game. But it's the NFL any game can be tough.

GB, Ten, at NYG/Dal are the most likely chances to lose. Wouldnt wanna go into the playoffs unbeaten. at Chicago maybe depending on the weather as you said.

Every team in the history of the NFL, NBA, MLB etc would love to go into Chicago unbeaten in the playoffs.

Drake London and Kyle Pitts have combined for a total of 654 yards over the first 9 games of the season. The Falcons are such a poorlyrun franchise.
