REAL FOOTBALL Thread

49ers don't have designed runs for Kap anymore until the playoffs start. Majority of his rushing is from scrambling. Guys like Wilson still have designed run plays called for them.

I just think the defense knows there just aren't any guys that can take the top off the defense so they arne't playing back at all. We have three receivers that do the same thing and thats not good for a QB.

And you don't think that's problematic? That as he's handed the keys to the offense that he's electing to run more? Also I haven't watched Stevie Johnson much lately but wasn't his bread and butter stretching a defense? I said before the season last year the issue with Crabtree and Boldin is they're the same receiver, but I recall that being poopooed as well.

Yeah I don't understand the Lions offense being great. Zero running game and a ton of pass attempts every game.

The Lions have been far from an offensive juggernaut this year. They've struggled all season.

They've struggled without Megatron. Megatron is so impoartant to that team, and showing why I said he's more valuable than 2 great receivers. Everything changes when he's on the field. He's far and away the best receiver I've gotten to watch extensively. Rice admittingly I didn't see a ton of in his prime and remember it as I was pretty young. I saw and rememberedlike the very end of his prime which was like 93-95. I've obviously watched highlights of him, but that's not fair when it comes ot assessment as highlights are often misleading. Highlights may make you think Vick is a respectable QB some times.

Megatron catches everything. His catch radius is huge. He is exactly what Stafford needs.

Tron is legitimately the most talented WR to ever play. The raw ability of Randy Moss and the work ethic of Rice. Rice was amazing. Still the GOAT when talking about best WR of all time, but there are just some things that Tron can do with his size and ability that Rice simply couldn't do.

Megatron is great. Makes tons of catches he has no business making. But he drops A LOT of catchable balls. Take it from someone who watches every snap. Yesterday, he dropped a HUGE 3rd down catch, that would've been a 40 yard game, instead - right off his hands, and we punt.

I believe he is starting his decline, as he gets knicked up every game. It doesn't help that Stafford is wildly innacturate and leaves all of his WR out to dry.

The Lions offense has been horrendous this year. Everyone thought bringing in the Saints guy (Joe Lombardi) was going to make us a juggernaut. But we are now the most conservative play calling bunch I've ever seen. We don't have the O-Line to do what we try to do. The only time they let the offense let loose is when we're down a score with 2 min left in the game. Then all of the sudden, we score. Go figure.

Rice's route running was so good that he rarely needed to use size or jumping abilities to catch the ball. He was always open.

Megatron is like a hybrid of Randy Moss and Anquan Boldin. Speed, size and jumping ability but their route running isn't GOAT material.

Brian Mitchell brought it and he is right.

I think his rant was better than the black coach about "crowning someone's ass" "They are who we thought they are"

Yep, he's brutally honest and no player is exempt from it. I like it; Im not sure how much the players do though.

A bitch coward like RG3 is probably telling his mommy to give mean ole' coach a call to apologize! You don't talk to lil' Bobby like that.

In further seriousness, the Skins are a total mess and a joke with no fix in sight. Terrible owner/GM, bad personnel, total question mark at coach. Love it.

Mitchell is very vocal and tells it like he sees it. In this case, he was right. I wish more guys had the passion of B-Mitch

When the Cowboys miss the playoffs, remember the Skins beat that ass in Cowboy stadium with 3rd string QB. Lolzzzzzzzzzzz

Rice also had Joe Montana and Steve Young throwing to him. Megatron is great at running routes. He's not Rice, he doesn't have Rice's hands, but he's got insane athletic ability.

Fitzgerald was in the mold of Jerry Rice, sick hands perfect route running, etc. But when he was in his Prime vs Megatron, Megatron was still better. Megatron is the best receiver I've ever gotten to see for a reason. Rice may have been better, but I think you're talking about 1A vs 1B.

So we have similar recent pasts but one is in much better shape than the other at the moment. Which sucks more?

Cowboys have nothing for the future and the worst owner in pro sports. An owner that runs **** during games. How is that for the future?

An the Skins beat your asss. Hahahhahahahab
