REAL FOOTBALL Thread

Hahahaahahaha what a joke of a defense.

That's the kicker, Defense did not do enough to win us the game. 37 should be enough to win. If the defense was better and the coaching wasn't moronic, we could have clinched playoff birth by now. We did well enough in this game for sure, in the Minnesota game, and coaching blew Cleveland and Detroit for us. Imagine if we had 3-4 more wins right now.

inexcusable. The coaching blunders especially.

I needed Julio to get 37 points for me to get in the fantasy playoffs - figured no shot in hell... He was close to getting that 2nd touchdown about 5 different times... any one of which would have got me the win.

Despite the loss, that was an awesome game for the Falcons. This isn't the same team that lost 5 in a row. No one will mention it but since they went to London, the Falcons have played really well.

I can't understand Matt Ryan hate for a second. He made one poor throw, but he shredded Green Bay in a cold weather game. He's quietly been a top 7 guy this year and this despite playing behind one of the most unreliable offensive lines in football.

Also anyone with problem with Koetter needs to be reminded of the days of Mike Mularkey. Steven Jackson might be approaching 300 carries by now if he were sround.

People hate on Ryan because he's good but not the best. People hate on anyone who's not Peyton, Rodgers, or Brady, they even hate on Brees. Hell last year they hated on Brady. Most NFL fans are haters, sometimes haters are right (see RGMe) sometimes they're not (see Romo and Ryan)

You're right, they're certainly a better team, maybe things shake out a little different if the refs don't screw up the fumble call on Rodgers, or call a personal foul on someone diving on the pile but not on the OL who came in to clear the guy out. The reffing was absolutely horrible. Green Bay didn't need the help to shred Atlanta defensively but seemingly everytime there was a big play with a missed call, it was green bay. One of Lacy's runs I just remember seeing a Falcons DT trying really hard to peel away (headturned and everything) which is almost always called a hold, and it wasn't.
