He was clearly falling to the ground after jumping up to catch ball. The number of steps means nothing.

So if a screen pass goes to someone, and he's stumbling as he makes the catch and then drops the ball, it's not a fumble, but an incomplete pass?

This week rule decided game. Last week a ref decided.

And I still don't agree with the thought the non-pass interference call decided last week's game. The Lions still had chances to win. This stupid rule/call did directly affect the outcome of today's game. Take that for what you will.

Unfortunately you dont know rule book. Terrible rule but ruled 100% correct.
