To Calvin, yeah he can. Not sure he could elude that rush.

Chances are it wouldn't be catchable to anyone else other than Calvin though.

In my opinion, Stafford has the best pure arm talent in the league.

It doesn't much matter though until he can be more consistently accurate

Austin's interview with Denver has been cancelled. Not clear at this point why.

I think it's because they are going to hire Gary Kubiak

@JasonLaCanfora: Gary Kubiak will meet with Broncos for their head coaching opening. Interview expected this weekend. Suffice to say Elway very interested

Source: Lions defensive coordinator Teryl Austin has withdrawn from consideration for the Broncos head coaching vacancy, at this time. He was scheduled to interview Friday

I think the Austin-Gase duo or Quinn is the way to go for Falcons. If they don't make either of those hires then I have no idea what they are doing.

They could get hit waiting on QUinn, one of those 2 is hired elsewhere and Quinn decides to go elsewhere. But I think that's not very high on the list. That being said, there's about a 0% chance of that happening. With Fox all but signed to the Bears the only vacancies will be Atlanta and Denver. Denver seems to be all in on Kubiak so Atlanta will be able to have their pick of the litter. THouhg I'm guessing if Seattle goes to the Superbowl, that Austin and/or Gase may pull an ultimatum and say if you want us hire us we don't want to wait 2 more weeks. Would be really fun if we had all 3, Austin as DC, Gase as OC and QUinn as HC, though that's not super likely.

Im sure a detroit return would make sense for Austin. He won't get a HC offer coaching our D next year.

ATL is refusing to let Armstrong and Tice interview elsewhere....meaning they may have Quinns blessing.

All of this crap with coaches makes me think these hirings should not be allowed to start until after the SB, when every coach can interview with every team for every position.

So here's a question given the massive coaching turnovers as of late

Everyone should be able to guess that Bill Belichick is the longest tenured coach in the NFL, but can you guess who the next 2 are?

I agree, but the NFL doesn't care about rules, unless it's how players act so they can steal money from their moneymakers.

FOX Sports' Mike Garafolo reports there's a "lot of talk" that Kyle Shanahan is "hitching his wagon" to Seahawks DC Dan Quinn.
Shanahan made waves by turning down the 49ers' request to interview for their offensive-coordinator vacancy, but could have an agreement to join up with Quinn if/when he's hired by the Falcons. Quinn is considered the heavy favorite to replace Mike Smith in Atlanta, but can't formally be hired until the Seahawks are eliminated. Landing with Matt Ryan after years in the Brian Hoyer/Robert Griffin III wilderness would be a boon for Shanny's future prospects.
