Such a disappointing year for the Bears. Defense was still really good but the offense took a major step backwards. Can’t tell if it’s the QB or the play calling but something has to change.

It's a lot of things. Packers being better than Last year is probably the biggest. But also the fact that Trubitsky is young. Young QBs often go through adjustments as the league figures out their tendencies. And some of it is playcalling because the coach has to realize their player is being exposed and should work to cover that up.

Packers being better only affected the Bears in two games. The play calling and Trubisky’s accuracy issues cost them way more. Trubisky has been way more effective lately as he’s begun to run more. For whatever reason, running Trubisky wasn’t an option earlier this season and he isn’t to the point where he can beat you solely with his arm. The offensive line’s struggles to protect him and get the running game going may be the biggest issues of all.

It only directly effects them in 2 games, in indirectly effects them in more. When you have to feel like you need ot be perfect or push harder to win more sometimes that opens up opportunites to make more mistakes. I know as a Falcons fan when both the Saints and Panthers were good I would see Ryan make more mistakes than when just one was good because he thought he had to be an MVP to win and perhaps trubitsky had the same issue.

I like how the XFL is doing extra points. The nfl will do something similar within a few years to make the games more competitive I would think.

No they won't because the XFL rule is stupid and eliminates a key single aspect of football from the game. The NFL is not looking for more plays to get players hurt/concussed in. The changes in kickoff rules already made that clear. They won't do away with the extra point or 2 point conversion. If they wanted to they would have just made single extra points automatic instead of backing them up.

Not sure what your going on about but a 3 point extra point is genius move that will make games more competitive. Turns a 17 point deficit into a two possession game instead of three possessions.

Why don't they just give the team fun bucks to buy points at random it would make the game much more competitive.

Who do you guys have in the SB?

I think we see 49ers/Chiefs with my boys winning.

Getting healthy at the right time and arguably are the most talented team in football.
