Thats fine and I dont think he will be better but there is a reason why the hype train is crazy for Kaepernick.

ESPN hypes up anyone that will help their ratings. See: Puig, Yasiel; Tebow, Tim. Not saying I don't like Kaep, I think he will be pretty good. But odds are he won't be in that elite elite category.

Well the odds on anyone being in that category is slim. You arent reLly going out on a limb there. Im interested in seeing how he aadjusts without crab but I believe barring injury he will be a top 5 qb for the next 7-10 years. His ability is off the charts.

Over the next 7-10 years I would take:
Rodgers
Luck
RG3
Wilson

alone over Kaep. We'll see. But it's too early to say he'll be top-5.

But not too early for Luck, RG3, or Wilson? Im not saying agree with thethe, but you cant say its too early for him but not the other guys.

Luck and RG3 are two of the most talented QBs we've seen in a very, very long time. Barring injuries I don't see any way they're not. Kaep played how many games last year? With insane talent all around him. A lot of QBs could have succeeded on that team (Alex Smith...).

Thank you.

He started 8 games on an insanely talented team. He didn't shoulder too much responsibility for the team the way the other guys did. Not even close.

I'm not saying I'd take Romo over Kaep but I'd LOVE to see Kaep on that Cowboys teams with no line, no run game, and no defense. He'd have to singlehandedly win every game for them. Which I'm not sure he'll be able to do yet.

What can those guys do that that Kaep can't do?

And wasn't Wilson on an insanely talented team as well?

Luck and RG3 are better passers. They were both relied on much more than Kaep was.
Kaep is getting very overrated to me right now. The guy has played 8 games on a great team swamped with talent. He would not do so well on the Redskins (even though RG3 had a great season from Morris) or the Colts.

Did you watch how Kaep picked apart teams last year? They didn't have a great receiving corp like the Falcons or Giants do.

Luck I will give you in terms of responsiblity but Washington was just as much of a running team as the 49ers were and they did not open up the playbook for RG3.

RG3 is more talented though. Fumbled 3 times in 15 games with 5 INTs, Kaep fumbled 9 times in 8 games with 3 INT. Also played behind a great line with a top-flight defense. A lot of guys would succeed in his place.

Fumbles? Really?

Kaep fumbled 4 times in New England in bad weather. But that doesn't even matter. Fumbles are more or less a fluky thing in small samples.

Kaep had a higher yards per attempt avearge, higher QBR, higher DVOA.

He just needs time. He could fall flat on his face just like any of these guys but for what he has shown just as much as any of the other rookie QB's from last year. You can't fault him that there was a starting QB in place that was doing well.

Thats why I like the conditional pick. Maybe a change of scenery and playing for a contract motivates him. I think jts a great use of the excess draft picks.

He just got arrested again on July 12, the guy is a loser

I wanna see him when teams game plan for him, and when more is on his shoulders. Not all that difficult to succeed in the situation he was in. He has a lot to prove IMO. So do the other guys. But he just didn't have to do too much for his team to win last year.

Griffin is a better passer in which ways? It can't be arm strength. Going through progressions? Neither one has a giant sample for that. Accuracy? Can't be that either. Well maybe Griffin is more accurate on his little 7 yards in patterns. So what passing areas is Griffin better at than Kaep?

Oh and what he did in his first start against Chicago was because they didn't gamelan for him right?

For some reason people think Kaep is a running QB.
