Zito doesn't believe that teams get better or worse as teh season progresses. They are just a reflection of what they did from the first game to the last game. Its more of his ridiculousness in line with ideas such as Justin Upton sucks now because the universe is correcting itself.

What QB are you getting that's an UPGRADE and helps your team in the cap.

Look at the QB's getting these deals, it is what it is.

As for not winning anything, Ryan is 56-22 through his first five years, best in NFL history, in fact.

If you wanna use playoff success, that's on the team, as i already pointed out, Flacco won a playoff game when he threw for 34 yards...

Did they overpay, probably, but they had no choice. It would cost just as much to keep him at seasons end unless he had a season-ending injury or something. I'm far from a Ryan fan, but they really can't get anyone better. He's arguably a top 5 QB in todays game, at worst 6-10, that's plenty good enough to win a title.

Niners were the second best team in the NFC much better than the Ravens. Flacons were better than the Giants overall, but you're comparing a 12 seed upsetting a 5 to a 9 upsetting an 8 different monsters

The Ravens were playing their best ball at that point in the year. Their "ranking" which encompasses all teh way back to week 1 is meaningless.

Dude you have no clue about the NFL. Sure there is minimal momentum, but it's not like baseball where you carry momentum to another game. Everyone in the NFL plays every game at 100%. Doesn't matter if you're the Jets or Niners, you go out there to win cause you may only get 16 chances to impress someone.
