REAL FOOTBALL Thread

TD #1- Clear hold by James Carpenter. Some holds can be disputed, this one cannot. Seahawks kick field goal

TD #2- Same drive as TD #1. Clear false start....still resulted in the field goal.

TD #3- Personal foul on Carpenter. Although no impact on the play, a clear 15 yard penalty. Seahawks still score td

Its funny to read idiots all over the internet..."yeah, but they shoulda had 3 more TDs if it wasn't for penalties, bro. Score should have been 48-17!"

Who care about penalties, refs in the NFL suck. The NFL as a whole sucks. ENjoy your team winning or your least favorte team losing.

I feel like my biggest complaints are sound. Remember when games used to last under 3 hours? Remember players used to be allowed to play? Remember when players could have fun on the field? I honestly can say many NFL sundays I don't watch the game like I used to. I often am playing on the computer or reading or listening to music or something else.

Lions to sign Prater per reports.

No real surprise, they're 4-1 if they had a good kicker.

Not all the time. Just when I have nothing better to do. I usually use Sundays to visit breweries and catch up on rewinds.

LMAO you're FOS.

I hate the way the league is right now.

Other than Seattle, you cant play defense.

Cant make many tough hits, among other things but we all still watch.

That's mainly because the Falcons suck.

It's definitely not as fun to watch anymore though. Too many flags. Too many rules. No flow to the games. Let the guys hit each other again. If you don't want to risk getting hurt, don't sign that football contract for millions of dollars. Simple as that. Game is pussified now.

Classic. Enjoy 1-4.
Skins just as good as Cowboys right?

Dallas is playing way over their heads. Credit due to their defense playing better than everyone expected though. They are good team as long as they remember to run the ball. Best in the NFC? Not so much, but winning the east can definitely happen.

How are they playing way over their heads? Their offense is legit as they have the best RB in the game going right now. That Texans game should not have been close. The Cowboys dominated every number except scoreboard. Dominated the Saints and Titans, neither of which are good teams (right now), but still - it's not like it was close or they struggled.

As I said before the season started, their defense was going to get better by default. There was no way it could have been as bad as it was last year. Their secondary actually has some players, and Ro McClain has been a big difference maker. Add that to the top rushing offense in the league and Romo playing well, you've got a decent mix. #6 in the Aikman efficiency ratings. They won't have 11 or more wins, no. But I don't see any reason why they can't keep up their current level. The OL is among the best in the league.

They haven't been amazing. They've been good-to-very-good. They can keep that up.

Losing Demarcus Ware and Jason Hatcher were not as terrible as people tried to make them out to be. Ware was not good last year. Hatcher was, but it was his first good year, wasn't particularly good against the run, and is 32 years old. He's made an impact in one game this year for the Foreskins.

If anyone is lucky to be where they are, it's the Eagles. They've looked terrible on offense and defense so far. They've scored 2 TDs the last two weeks. Crossed mid-field TWICE all game vs. the Niners. They've had some lucky special teams plays that have won them games. Their secondary is crazy poor.
