Sucks Fisher got fired. Really wanted the 'ole ball coach to get the Titans that top 3 pick. May not matter.

He becoming the premier social justice warrior in all of sports is as surprising as DJT as the president elect.
If I'm playing the Cowboys, I'm terrified of Romo with that offense. I don't care about anything else except that Romo is clearly the superior QB right now. If I was them, I would get him in there now to try to get rhythm for the playoffs. The only thing Dak did was complete a pass to Williams when no one was withing 30 yards.
Their defense was atrocious and they had zero rushing attack. Their offense was very poor majority of the game. Cousins missed some throws and had some others that were dropped. His interception was a bad ball for sure.Crushing lost for Washington last night. As a Falcons fan, I hope they don't make it because they look like a likely first round match up. I would much rather play Detroit or Tampa Bay.

He's clearly the superior QB based on what? It's funny to see talk about Romo 'getting an opportunity' when he's been the QB there for a decade. I realize that this offense is set up pretty well right now, but it's not as though Romo's teams were hurting for talent on offense.
The team is playing extremely well behind Dak, and their chemistry is off the charts. You may believe that would remain the same while QB play improved with Romo, but no one knows that for sure, and it would be pretty dumb to mess with it at this point. Dak does what that offense needs the QB to do - make good, efficient decisions and take care of the ball. Romo might open up more big plays, but he would also bring along a greater chance for negative plays.
And with regard to the Giants, he said they were 'pretty good,' which they are. Beat the Cowboys twice, beat the Ravens, beat the Patriots (who were a good team even without Brady, though it obviously isn't the same as beating them now), and they have a +22 scoring margin on the year. You can say their 10-4 record might be a tad misleading, but I think it's safe to say they're pretty good. Unless you think the number of pretty good teams in the NFL is about 4-5.

Giants didn't play the Patriots. I don't think the Ravens are very good either.
I would play Romo if I were the Cowboys. I agree Dak is the safe choice, but I don't think the safe choice wins titles.
Cousins is mind boggling sometimes. He looks like a top 5 QB for a couple weeks and then has a game like last night, which was awful. Skins are built right now to have a ton of weapons and need a QB to make plays for mediocre defense. Last night Cousins lost them the game.
The Lions are a complete pretender. If I was the Falcons, I would be rooting for Detroit matchup. Neither the offense or defense is very good.
TB has some talent. Kinda averagish offense and defense.
Skins are mediocre on defense, but they could possibly put up a lot of points on the Falcons. I don't think the Lions or TB would do the same.
I think the Cowboys are playing great football right now, but they have some obvious holes. They are 12-2 or whatever because they play good solid football and Dak doesn't make many mistakes (and the OL and run game have been solid). Their holes are pretty glaring if you watch them closely. Other than Irving, the Cowboys couldn't get any pressure on the QB if they let their DL guys ride motorcycles back there. It'll take more than that come playoff time. They also need Clabourne back out there. I think the Cowboy defensive coaches deserve MAJOR credit for doing what they've done this season but they have pretty much maxed out the results for way less than max level players, other than Sean Lee and Byron Jones. Tyrone Crawford gets mega dollars but has just slightly more impact on the game than I do. If Reefer Gregory or sore back Lawrence can get some pressure from the other side they might survive until at least the NFC championship game.
On the offensive side, Dak has been great for a rookie because he takes what the defense gives him. Zeke has been great but a lot of that's because of the OL. The OL has been great but my problem with them has been the fact that they seem to read and believe their own press clippings. It'll be a little harder come playoff time. Dez makes me absolutely crazy. When he's on he's as good as any WR in the game, but sadly he isn't on all that much. I don't know how much of it is injury related and how much of it is something else, and frankly I don't care. when you make $15M/year I expect your arse to be superman every freakin' week and I"m not seeing that. I'm very happy with the Cowboys record and accomplishments this season but if they're going to go to the SB it'll take more than what I've seen so far.
Detroit is 100% the team to face. Nothing intimidating about them whatsoever, including Stafford.
Lions and Stafford have 8 game winning drives this year. Say what you want, but Stafford and the Lions offense have been pretty efficient all season. Hand injury aside, I'd rather face the Redskins who have a negative turnover margin.

Romo two years ago is better than Dak but that was two years ago. Who knows how Romo can play right now. Not to mention can he even take a hit anymore? Last two have caused broken bones.
