REAL FOOTBALL Thread

Kinda agree with thethe.

RB is probably one of the easiest positions to find in the NFL.

Lot of the top backs are drafted after the first round.

They still need help on the defense and OL as well, Luck gets hit way too much.

It is stupid to take a rb top 3 in the first place. This seems like an attempt to tank so they can draft Teddy Bridgewater. I know Clowney is a big deal but he isn't going to turn around a team like a franchise Qb can.

I still think the jags win the Bridgewater sweepatakes though. Browns probably take the next besy qb and he turns into another massive bust.

Highest attendance for a Seahawks home game was this past Sunday. Yeah you are right it was a meaningless game.

Seattle's attendance Sunday was 68338 last year their attendence was 67946 selling out 101.4% of their capacity ON AVERAGE. So I dont' think the extra 392 folks was that big of a difference.

Your ignorance of Seattle is sad.

You thinking that was their superbowl when those guys show up and scream for every game.

Was gonna say the same, that crowd is loud every home game.

Those fans are passionate.

If they get a home playoff game or home field, it will be 100 times louder.

Wasnt it their ****ing home opener the year after they did a little damage in the playoffs...playing a division rival who lost in the SB the year before..division rival whos hometown is down the coast?

Im confused?

No it was their superbowl. That explains the extra 392 people who made it much better.

I think the trade was a win for both sides. Browns need to collect assets to turn into a franchise QB. Whether they draft him, use the picks to move up, or use the picks in a trade for someone established, it's essential they find a franchise QB. If you don't have one in this league, you're dead. For the Colts, they must be looking around at how vulnerable the AFC is and they figure their window is open right now.

No chance Vikings will make the playoffs...not with Ponder at QB.

TB simply isn't good enough.

Carolina could possible, but I don't see it. Certainly not when they choke every game down the stretch and Cam really isn't improving as a passer.

I think i predicted 7-9 wins for Skins this year. Thats probably not playoff worthy. They get cap space back next year so that will help.

TB is good enough everywhere but QB.....obviously that's is the most important spot BUT if they can somehow get a vet QB I wouldn't be shocked if they made the playoffs.

Not that he is THE answer BUT I would really welcome a Freeman for Weeden trade....at least for the rest of the year.

Weeden is buttcheeks. Though Freeman isn't really much better. Henne is the guy the Bucs should target. He's not gonna win you games but he's right around average.

Weeden isn't bad but doesn't have much around him.

I do agree with BRule that TB is a playoff team with a good QB, not sure who that is however.

Weeden is garbage. Sure he has no amazing weapons, his career comp% is 57.0 his career td% is 2.5 his career int% is 3.3 NY/A at 5.66 and while the Browns receivers aren't good. Their QB doesn't help. Weeden and Gabbert are 2 guys who have potential who won't live up to it. Unfortunately for Weeden he's already 30 so he doesn't really have time to grow. He was supposed to come to the NFL more or less ready.

Yeah Weeden is one of the dumbest picks ever.
Trading TR for a 1st was a great idea IMO. He's a far cry from AD, so he's not worth a top-10 pick.

I think he's not that far from him in terms of talent, but it's smart because odds of the Browns being good and Richardson being in his prime are slim.
