Falcons took like 3 lineman last draft or something like that. Though I wish they took Warmack last year but I don't think he's done anything this year so who cares.

There first two picks were DB's. I thought it was a bad move at the time. They needed to get some more line help when the talent was at a higher quality.

I think Trufant was a really good pick. I liked him a lot coming into that draft. Even first round CB's tend to suck their first year but Trufant's seems to get better with every game according to PFF's grades.

It doesn't matter if you fail you have to keep on drafting them. Look at the Lions. Whiffed on three WR's and then got Megatron.

And they have gotten exactly where? No wrs other than Calvin, and very little talent anywhere else. And they got that pick by being so sucky, not really any other reason. Wasn't he a 2nd overall pick?

I am still chuckling that thethe wants the Falcons to aspire to be like the Lions and draft like them. LOL.

Didn't say to draft like them but its obvious that you have failed with your O/D lineman picks. You still need to make picks along those lines becuase you guys get pushed around in almost every game you play.

Not at WR, but games are won and lost up front, Jets won that battle very easily last night.

As in the Lions drafting Suh and Fairley, along with others on their DL.

Falcons need to do one of two things: Either miraculously rally and make the playoffs or completely tank and finish something like 4-12.

Need to bring in some significant defensive talent next year, either through draft, free agency whatever. Have to fix the offensive line too.

You can only pick what you can at your spot. The lions were bad for a long time so they had a lot of prime picks. We had first round busts on the DL twice and have been picking fairly late in the first. Also can't ignore the rest of the roster.

The lions!

Where am I saying its his fault?

He had* amazing weapons but hes always "checking" down to short to max intermediate routes. I say "checking" cause those look to be his first read.

I understand the o-line argument. Trust me look at what Dallas used to be. But dinking and dunking will only work if you are playing ahead most of the game. With Atlanta's terrible defense...they dont have that luxury. Put the ball down the field in the hand of your playmakers...please.

Too late now..but still.

Ryan doesn't like to stand in the pocket for more than 3-4 seconds. He doesn't allow his guys to get open down the field alot. Most of the time its either a fly route or a 10 yard pass.
