I love your excuses

Davis was only healthy for one game, when Kaepernick has a good game.

OMG LOOK AT THE HEALTH DAVIS HAS.

Lol thinking Kaep has worse weapons than Wilson.

Wilson has Sydney Rice, Golden Tate, and Zach Miller as his normal starters. Those 3 have a combined 458 yards of the team total 1126. Kaepernick has Boldin, Williams, and Davis. Those 3 combine for 704 yards of the team total 969 (and also all 6 of the teams receiving TDs)

Could you argue that Wilson has better depth? Probably. But Wilson si clearly a better distributor of the ball.

Truth is that Kaepernick has had 1 good game without Crabtree. Maybe he just needs a guy like Crabtree in order to be a good QB. Maybe eh's one of those guys who needs a go to confidant a guy he can lock onto and get the ball in a pinch. Cause it seems to me like Alex Smith did pretty good back in 2011 before Crabtree broke out officially.

Or maybe he just needs one of his only 2 legitimate weapons right now to be healthy like he was against the Packers when he ripped that secondary to shreds. I like Kyle Williams a lot but it doens't appear he was ready to come back and it looks like he may lose his starting role to Baldwin now. Again, I'm not happy with Kaeps performance this year but you act like I'm the only one that has mentioned that he doesn't have weapons this year. Its acknowledged by those that follow the game for a living who are completely unbiased so please stop it with your homer innuendos. If Kaep is still putting up pedestrian numbers when Crab/MM come back then fine I will admit I was very premature about my declarations.

Every receiver needs legitmate weapons. Tom Brady isn't even having a good year right now. Lets see what happens when Tony G retires and Ryan can't get all those easy first downs because he is throwing to the greatest tight end of all time that still could play another 3-4 seasons if he wanted.

Considering you could have had JPP, Dez Bryant, or Demaryius Thomas, yeah I'd say you could of done better, You always take a skill position player over an OL unless you have players at those positions already.

You don't realize how important the OL is until you watch your QB's run for their lives for 5 years. There's no use in having a Dez Bryant if your QB doesn't have any time to throw the ball to him.

Zito, why you mad dude? Yeah the Falcons are 1-4 and Jones is out for the year but don't start playa hatin' on the Niners. Kap is the future bro. He has muscles, tats and an 87mph fastball.

Then we build football teams in completely different ways. I first want to be strong on the lines and then build on the outside.

And as I said, having a good OL coach can be the difference. Warmack is the first OL the Titans have taken higher than the 3rd round in quite some time. And we've consistently had great OL. Not to mention you can find very good OL on the FA market every yr for pretty cheap (in relation to skill position players)

Oh I do. Titans had 1 of the worst OL in the league last yr. But wasting our top 2 picks on OL would have been stupid. Instead we signed Levitre and drafted Warmack and and used our 2nd rounder on a skill player.

OL is an easy position to fix.

This argument is silly, whats important is to draft good players regardless of what position they play. You can find talented players outside of the first round for every position outside of QB. There are a few exceptions for QB but they are a very small percent. The Saints have one of the best offenses in the game and the only first rounders are Meachem who got released by the Chargers recently, Grubbs who was signed to replace Nicks who was a mid round pick who turned into an all pro guard and left for a monster contract, and Ingram who is the 4th best RB on the team. Pierre Thomas, Lance Moore, and the starting center De La Puerte went undrafted. Strief and Colston were 7th round picks. Jahri Evans and Darren Sproles were 4th round picks. Jimmy Graham is one of the best offensive weapons in the game and was drafted in the third round. If only the Saints could figure out how to draft good offensive players in the first round.

And yet so many teams struggle with horrid offensive lines. 49ers wouldn't change their 2010 draft for anything. Davis/Iupati are among the best in the league at their position. You don't just find those guys easily in later rounds and on FA for cheap.

Cause he's ELIte.

Poor line...poor running game...He's gotta shoulder the load. Sure isnt doing it.

Even his patented close his eyes and throw it 60 yards isnt working anymore. How sad.

Eli has been putrid this year but pretty sure Randle ran the wrong route on the first 2 picks

Oh and the Giants are bad because they have no OL, no RB depth, no pass rush and no corners.....and Eli picks but it's far deeper than LOLEli

Mostly due to poor front office decisions and/or going cheap on the OL.

Steelers are a great exmaple. They have a horrible OL (even with Pouncey they were no better than average). Yet the Steelers have spent high draft picks on OL in 4 of the last 5 drafts.

LOL love that these are excuses for Eli, but Romo would be getting crushed if he were this awful. Eli is terrible right now. He's always been about average. You don't throw what, 16 INTs through 6 games if you're not terrible.

OL is easy? Huh? It's very hard to find good lineman all the way across.

Giants have also had a brutal schedule so far against some really good defenses (Eagles aside). But the rest of the yr the only good defenses they face should be the Cowboys and the Seahawks.
