If Roman can't handle doing his job while interviewing for another, maybe he shouldn't have his job? I mean seriously, do you never look for jobs once you have one?

It's called conflict of interest. Seriously, do you ever say anything that's right Zito?

How is it a conflict of interest? If he does well at his current job he'll get an opportunity to advance. That's what pretty much every coach strives for If you can't do your job and interview for another, then you suck at life. If he spends 8 hours a day sleeping, say 12 hours with the Niners or working on Niners stuff, that still leaves time to be played with to brush up on interviews and what not.

Maybe I should give you the definition of conflict of interest from wikipedia A conflict of interest (COI) occurs when an individual or organization is involved in multiple interests, one of which could possibly corrupt the motivation.

How would interviewing for a new job corrupt his motivation at his current one? He can't be hired away until the Niners are eliminated so wouldn't the potential to move up be a motivating factor, not something that would hurt his motiviation?

I don't look for jobs while I am at my job.

You're at your job 24/7? I don't get why people have these obscene double standards when it comes to people in sports. If he spends 5 hours this week dealing with this interview, odds are that they won't interfere with his current job because sucking at his current job will hinder getting a new one. If SF ****s the bed offensively that reflects negatively on him.

A football coach is absolutely at their job 24/7. Thats why they get paid more than slaves like me. If you dont understand that then I don't know what to say.

I agree with the Niner fans here.

He cant wait until the season is over, the focus should be 100% on this game and the season at hand.

LMAO that's funny. NFL Coordinators get paid a lot. Yes, but you're making it sound like they're making multi-millions if not more.

And they aren't at their jobs 24/7 sure they work harder than many out there because they want to move up and want to make head coach money. but they're not doing their job all day every day. THey're working long hours then they go home to their families like everyone else.

Unless you think I make a few hundred thousand dollars a year then I did not say they are close to multi-millionaires.

Bottom line is that when you are a football coach and your team has a game next week you should not be doing anything else but preparing for that game.

If Roman is spending the time he normally spends on the Niners gameplan to work on his interview, then that is corrupting the motivation of his current job.

Come on Zeet you're getting senile in your old age.

The odds are that he is sacrificing any personal or family time that he would normally have in this situation.

These teams searching for coaches are looking to hire immediately..if these assistants wait until the playoffs are over to interview...there might not be a job for them at that point in time.

This country is built on opportunity...you should do everything in your power to succeed...while honoring your commitments.

I am sure these coaches work on their resumes year 'round based on the constant turnover in their profession..if he wants to take a few hours of his personal time towards bettering himself and his family...then eat ****.

This is just another excuse for the 49er fans when failure sets in and the season is over.

Except that I'd almost bet that he isn't. Instead he's using his personal time, just like you or I would. Well at least I since you're a homeless bum .

I dont care that the Hawks got 3 points out of it, the Saints D pretty much forced the Hawks into 2 straight 3 and outs which might be more than they had in the whole last game against the saints.
