Rittenhouse trial

Yeah - You didn't hang out close to your home?

You said 'across state lines' to imply he traveled far. Its another lying talking point the communist trash left uses.

It won't work.

a) the gun was not taken across state lines as I wrongly gathered.
It belonged to a friend in Illinois.

but that really doesn't change the fact a 17 year old was wondering around 20 miles from his legal residence with a weapon
why?

ACROSS STATE LINES!!!!

Wandering around? He was helping defend local businesses that were being ravaged by animals.

Even if he did cross state lines it wouldn't matter. It wasn't a Short Barreled Rifle so there is no law against it. The two laws clearly broken that I see is that supposedly Rittenhouse's friend bought this gun for Kyle. Even though it stayed at his friends residence. Straw gun purchases are illegal if made for a person that cannot legally buy the firearm themselves which is the case here.

And Kyle also broke the law by being armed in a non hunting situation while being under 18 as well. Unless I'm missing something those two seem really easy to prosecute.

First degree murder is going to be hard to prove imo. They would have had a much easier case with manslaughter.

FWIW, when i was 16-19 this could have been the case for me and all of my friends. I was just about always 3-50 miles from my house with a gun on or under the backseat. Its not that uncommon.

Yep. Long guns in the gun rack or behind the truck seat, pistol stuck between driver's seat and console. From the day I turned 16, whether at work school or church.

But I also didn't purposefully go hang out at street corners where I felt I needed a semi auto on my shoulder to be safe. Kids are kids, but his momma needs to be slapped.

Also wouldn't have even given a thought about crossing state lines even if this kid did not. I wouldn't even have given it a second thought. Actually I likely did it reglarly.

ah, the old boys will be boys defense
No, let me fix that. Entitled white boys will be entitled white boys defense.

2 people were killed at the hand of a 17 year old that carried a weapon into a volatile situation.
A vigilante handing out vigilante justice.
And people here doing contortions trying to justify.

And it’s a shocker no ones takes you seriously

Curious what I am seeing wrong. A 17 year old white kid illegally carried a weapon into a volatile area then shot and killed 2 unarmed people.
White people here tripping over each other rationalzing/ justifying his actions.

Those are things that happened.

You might want to read a little more on who was and wasn't armed that night.
I just read 4 articles to learn there was a skateboard. A ****ing skateboard
I think firearm beats skateboard in most confrontations

Let me pass something on to you. The old saw that in conversation the one that first relies on insult has nothing else but, insult.

The other is, you know you've been arguing old conversations with someone that hasn't been here for days ?
