Rubber game vs Phillies

The Braves increased their % to win the division from 61.9 to 67.2 after winning 2 of 3 from the Phillies. Overall playoff odds now stand at 84.4%

That’s impossible. Virginiabrave assured us that Donaldson sucked and was a bust.

I always liked the Donaldson signing, he is basically local and a former MVP that is still a good defender at third. Hard to pass up a one year deal for him. Plus we can offer him a QO at season's end.

The Nats now that Sanchez is back pitching like last year look better than Philly right now. He won't pitch vs Philly this week as he pitched and won today. His next start is against us this Friday, possibly against DK. Personally I rather face the Nats other starters than the crafty Sanchez who owned us his one start against us in Atlanta.

The schedule sets up really well for next weekend at Washington. They have a four-game series vs Philly before then, and the Phillies face Scherzer and Strasburg on Wednesday and Thursday. So we’ll miss both of them in DC next weekend.

The key could be facing Fedde in game three, he is the weakest link in their rotation. Sanchez already dominated us once and is pitching very well right now. Plus facing Corbin in game two looks easier on paper than facing Scherzer and Strasburg.

I have a feeling that a lot of pitchers are going to have trouble throwing to the Braves lineup. Just need to find a way to shore up the rotation and the Braves are going to win a whole bunch of games in the latter half of the year.

I wonder if we offer him the QO that he would accept it. Altogether it wouldn’t be a bad outcome, but I have to think the team would rather let Riley loose at 3B next season.

hot streak or is this a team with an underlying level of 90+ wins...not sold on the idea this is a 90+ team...still think we'll finish with 85-90 wins
I think it’ll all depend on deadline deals. If we go all-in and fill our holes, we’ll be a 90+ win team.
