No, specifically. Foreign nationals don't generally get face time with the President just because they want it. No idea what business was ostensibly supposed to be done...just wondering how he got the meeting.
The president meets with all different types of people from all different walks of life. To assume this is suspicious is just showing you want it to be something

The President, any President, doesn't meet with anyone willy-nilly. Everything is controlled, scheduled, and vetted to a fare-the-well...at least, its supposed to be. Given what we've learned about how some meetings have come about, it's a fair question to ask about how this one was arranged.

Is this going to end up being setting up another back channel to put in well after the campaign when collusion was alleged? I'm fine with looking at everything but we are well past the point of anything with Russia is now is over scrutinized. How do you expect to have any relations with a country when this is the reaction?
