Apologies not accepted. But point taken. Apologies to the Massie family for my carelessness
Again - You have wisely understood htat being a LIbertarian at this time in history is not useful. Its the same argument with Massie. You can have Lindsey Graham. Ill take Massie. Even if he makes the job of a massive government a little tougher
Do you think trading him out for lindsey graham is a positive for a better future?Again - You have wisely understood htat being a LIbertarian at this time in history is not useful. Its the same argument with Massie.
For the next 5-10 years that we have to reclaim the sovereignty of our nation? 100%.Do you think trading him out for lindsey graham is a positive for a better future?
Ha!For the next 5-10 years that we have to reclaim the sovereignty of our nation? 100%.
Immediately after that? Give me a full congress full of Massies. I'd love to have the luxury of being able to do that.
He has proven to be so and helped set off a global pushback against communism. Not acknowledging this makes you lose credibility because its undeniable what is happening.Ha!
"We have to vote for this today ro save us! We have to ignore the constitution to save us! We have to fund all these awful things to get this one thing we need!"
A decades old story. I was told trump was the change agent
Bart Stupak was the last one who comes to mind. He led a few other moderate Dems in a stand against the original ObamaCare bill funding abortions. He was assured the bill wouldn’t do that, and equally assured that it was impossible to specifically state that in the bill. His group eventually fractured due to party pressure and caved in a “compromise” of Obama signing an EO to specify the funds couldn’t be used for abortion. Stupak was then ran out of the House by his party. There is no massie on the left
It requires standing up to party leadership and I've seen nobody do that yet
Massie is a modern day Ron paul. The people who say we should have listened to Ron paul are the same people saying we have to get rid of Massie
Yep. all or nuttin'Bart Stupak was the last one who comes to mind. He led a few other moderate Dems in a stand against the original ObamaCare bill funding abortions. Prior to that, Heath Shuler ran against Pelosi for Speaker in an effort to stop the leftward race the party was making towards San Francisco progressivism. He lost and was then ran out of the House by his party.
One does not challenge the dogma of the progressive faith.
But its more than that - I don't care if he doesn't have the stones. He just needs to to understand the current reality and how clsoe we are to losing it all.I agree with you both.
Massie ain't getting Greenland defended. Massie ain't getting Maduro out. Massie is a lot of good, but he doesn't have the stones to do what Trumps done.
As massie saysBut its more than that - I don't care if he doesn't have the stones. He just needs to to understand the current reality and how clsoe we are to losing it all.
LOL yeah Massie is so scared!I agree with you both.
Massie ain't getting Greenland defended. Massie ain't getting Maduro out. Massie is a lot of good, but he doesn't have the stones to do what Trumps done.
Not sure “stones” is the reason he wouldn’t do those things. Maybe the Constitutionality of some of those actions would thoughI agree with you both.

While waiting for this hypothetical day when Republicans will have enough power to actually do the right thing which is never gonna happen. Polymarket has 90% odds that Dems retake Congress later this year, if that happens, so long Trump era. It will be two more years of EOs that get shredded within the 1st hour of the next D presidency."This is the world we are in!" He wil explain
While republicans own all 3 branches. Hand picked speaker. Trump the change agent!
Status quo it is
Well wait Trump is the 1st president since James Garfield to never veto a spending bill so maybe thats the change agentWhile waiting for this hypothetical day when Republicans will have enough power to actually do the right thing which is never gonna happen.
